View on Google"We were lucky that they still had a room left, after the place that we had made reservations for, months earlier, gave us the most disgusting room that I've seen since the days when I stayed wherever there was a bed that was cheap. That place didn't live up to the name on the building. Upon check-in here, we were met by smiling faces that seemed happy to have us there, and a clean, ordered, lobby. A quick check in, and we were off to check out our room. We walked into a room, that while a little bit dated, was clean, and neat. A couple of loose carpet snags, where the carpet met the tile, but that's to be expected. There was a good assortment of things for breakfast, and if they were out of something, the staff was already working on replenishing it. Not exactly a home cooked breakfast, but there were plenty of places nearby to eat, if this didn't fit your needs. Overall, the staff made our stay very pleasant, and helped make this our home away from home, during our week in town visiting family. Everyone that I encountered, was pleasant, and did their best to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. A special thank you to those that we encountered at the front desk, Clarissa, Felecia, Charles, and Ian(?), who came up to our room, and helped figure out why the fan on the heating/cooling unit, wouldn't shut off. 20 minutes, and a quick phone call, and we were enjoying the silence, when the unit wasn't cycling, and making it so that we didn't have to keep changing the volume on the TV. They were all great to converse with, and made sure that our stay was trouble free. Will definitely stay here the next time we come to visit. Especially hearing that an update is on the horizon. Just please don't get those foam beds, that feel like you're swimming in quicksand. The only reason that the rooms got a 4 star rating, was because the rooms are a bit dated, but well kept, and the lack of privacy shades, or curtains that close. I felt a little uncomfortable walking around in my birthday suit, with just the shears, while seeing people out in the parking lot. It also helps to block the light, either natural, or artificial. Just some thoughts from someone who lives on a large property where the neighbors can't see our house, but we still like our darkness."
