What Guests Are Saying
“Having been a guest here many times…it is still one of my favorite places! We left CT. just before a HUGE snowstorm…the State was actually ‘closed’…to come to a place known for their frigid temps sounds silly…but it really is far more relaxing and cozy than going South! WFL has everything under one roof! You can get to the pool/hot tub through a heated tunnel. Two restaurants. ice skating…and they plow as needed and have their own Zamboni…bowling alley, game and exercise rooms…and a full-screen movie every night with popcorn provided!. Fireplaces in every room. GREAT staff…often students from far away lands who are attentive and go out of their way to please guests. It is not a bargain place to stay…and hamburgers are $29 which we feel is pretty high…even though the fries that come with it are great!” — Rascal1226, 5 stars
“I love this hotel. It’s located in the Adirondacks Mountains in the New York State in the USA. The atmosphere is great! The rooms are also great with a nice living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bathroom. The value is good with the price being a bit expensive, but it’s worth it! The rooms and the shared areas are kept tidy and clean. The noise level is also good with you not being able to hear any noise when going to bed. The service and staff is awesome with them being helpful and kind. There are a lot of great amenities such as: A few restaurants, a bowling alley to rent for yourself, a park, a movie theatre, a game room and a gym. My favorite amenities are: the bowling alley, the movie theatre and the game room.” — Jacob V., 5 stars
“We just came back from spending most of this week at the Whiteface Lodge as a fall getaway with our children. We stayed in the presidential suite, and I can’t say enough great things about our stay. The room was stunning, the view and grounds were beautiful, the food was great, and the staff were so friendly. We will be back at least once a year, it’s a beautiful place to be. The food was excellent, and you just feel so at home during your stay. We can’t wait to return! This is a gorgeous place.” — Mara N., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Whiteface Lodge.
"We stayed at the Whiteface Lodge for two nights in October for our wedding, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our suite was the perfect place to get ready with family the morning of the wedding. It was spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated for fall. After an offsite ceremony, we hosted our wedding dinner in a semi-private dining space at KANU, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the team was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend the Whiteface Lodge for a wedding day or any special occasion."

View on Google"We had our wedding at WFL in October 2025, and it was an absolute dream come true. We had our ceremony at the Canoe Club and the reception at the Clubhouse, and we stayed in the Clubhouse Thursday-Monday. Everyone at WFL was so lovely, helpful, and professional every step of the way. Our guests raved about the delicious food (esp the steak!) & drink, spectacular views, and wonderful staff. Extra special shout out to Michael, Maris, and Mary Catherine — they are truly the best!! We are SO thankful we booked our wedding there and would do it 1000 times over. Can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!!"
