What Guests Are Saying
“We’ve been visiting LP every summer for the past 6-7 years. Came across this beautiful property last year, and have stayed here on 3 occasions already. Location - the best location you can ask for quite honestly. It’s on Main St right on the lake, close to everything (Players, Emma’s Ice Cream - quick 5 minute walk to the beach). The apartments are very well maintained and stocked. Housekeeping does a great job (please remember to tip them generously during your stay!). Yuliia, the manager, is a pleasure to deal with. If we have any question before or during our stay, she is quick to respond. Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Always a pleasure staying here.” — freeXspirit, 5 stars
“We planned a 2 night birthday trip to Lake Placid and stayed at The Haus. This is the 3rd time staying at this wonderful boutique hotel. The suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay including all of the amenities you would ever need. Management was so friendly and accommodating! When they found out it was my birthday, upon returning to our suite after a day of fun - we were greeted by champagne, chocolate and a happy birthday card! The hotel is so convenient - located right on Main Street within walking distance of everything. DO NOT HESITATE to book your stay the next time you come to Lake Placid! You’ll be glad you did.” — Ralph A., 5 stars
“Suite #3 is spacious, clean and has a beautiful view of Mirror Lake. The hotel is located next to a small park and both nights there was a good crowd of people and very high-quality live music. It wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t almost completely remove it by closing the doors. The rooms are full of niceties and most importantly has cold air conditioning. The kitchen is well stocked and its appliances are spotless and nearly new. The shower has high pressure and could be made as hot as you like. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Also the person who checked us in was especially nice and helpful. I love it here and so does my spouse.” — HunterdonPaul, 5 stars

What guests are saying about The Haus.
"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. They left us the sweetest card, balloons and a small bottle of wine to celebrate. The view from our room was incredible. We really enjoyed the coziness and amenities. The location was awesome, right in the middle of everything. We had no issues with the parking pass. Will be back again when we visit Lake Placid!"

View on Google"We did a mid week get away in July 2024 and we loved The Haus. We stayed in Suite 8 which is a walk up on the third floor. The suite had everything we needed. The lake view from this unit is amazing. The village does live music on Tuesday nights in the park next door and we had the best seats in the house sitting on the private balcony! We will be back."
