“Just completed a 4 night stay at this hotel. Loved the location overlooking Mirror Lake and steps from the Herb Brooks Arena. Rooms were very clean(thanks Matt!), well appointed, nice water pressure, and quiet. They have a well stocked fitness center, large pool and hot tub on site. The breakfast buffet was well worth the 17.00 cost. Excellent staff in the breakfast room with very good food. The restaurant and bar is spacious, warm, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake and the Adirondacks. The wait staff and bar tender were prompt, courteous, and did not rush patrons to eat and run. Very nice way to end the evening. Shout out to Saili who helped make our evening even more enjoyable. “The Crowne Plaza is on a hill above the quaint hamlet of Lake Placid overlooking the Adirondack Mountains and Mirror Lake. The hotel is steps away from the Herb Brooks Arena and the town. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, with a friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful bar/restaurant to relax in w amazing views of the lake and mountains. There is also a large indoor pool, hot tub, and a well stocked fitness center. “From the moment you checked in at the front desk to the moment of check out, the staff was so helpful. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced with lots of options. The lunch and dinner venue was also excellent. The burger was great and the salads were tasty and huge.
