What Guests Are Saying

“Wowza. Super impressed from the minute I walked in. Even the grounds were impressive. Jessica greeted us with a smile and super helpful in checking us in a little early since we had afternoon spa treatments. Room was big, super clean, had all amenities we needed. One con in the room - the shower, designed strange. Water gets on the floor… Close to downtown Ithaca and restaurants and bars. Shopping seems a little scarce right now down in Ithaca. Spa - nice and clean. Robes were nice, I had Jaylene - she was good. Bar was nice but sadly didn’t serve some of the white wines by the glass so I left. Fireplace at night was burning and Kris as the front desk kept it up. Tea and coffee in the lobby available at all times. The continental breakfast needs some improvement- muffins or croissants would be a nice addition. Overall very happy with our stay. Nothing bad to say about our stay. Jessica - Front desk manager is excellent. She’s a keeper!” — Melissa N., 5 stars

“Stayed at La Tourelle for a spring break trip with my daughter to see the waterfalls in the area. We stayed in the tower room, which was cute! It is outdoor access only, up a short circular staircase. You do have to go inside to the 2nd floor for ice, that was the only drawback. The front desk was very helpful every time we had a question, and pointed us toward the hike at the rear of the property when we arrived after a long drive. We paid for the breakfast one morning, but would recommend the quick drive to Dolce Delight (expensive but great coffee!). Definitely do NOT skip making an appointment at August Moon Spa, it was superb! Also very happy with the small gym, great views from the treadmill! Great location, minutes from the north entrance to Buttermilk Falls State Park, and around the corner from Robert Treman State Park. If we come back to Ithaca we would definitely stay here again!” — Nicole M., 5 stars

“Very relaxing. Was able to take advantage of all the amenities none of which disappointed. Can hike from your room right to Buttermilk falls. Also, must visit the fire pit area complete with live music and outdoor bar under tents. Room was clean, comfortable and modern. The staff was very accommodating all around from the front desk, housekeeping and the lounge. Will definitely return.” — Robert R., 5 stars

"Such a cute place, the staff is incredible and the rooms were very large. The property is amazing, I wish it was warmer because I definitely would have camped in their camping area with their glamping tents and community area! Close to everything and the back yard backs up to buttermilk falls. I would definitely recommend and come back!"

"This hotel is so special. It is just a few miles outside of downtown Ithaca and within 10 minutes of both Cornell & Ithaca college. The people are extremely kind and accommodating. Their lobby is so quaint and the actual property really captures the energy of Ithaca. It is also attached to a Glamping site which is so cool and I would love to try next time!"

"The vine suite was just what we needed after a tiring week - plenty of space, separate rooms for adults and kids, and a cozy feel. The staff was helpful, communicative, and friendly! Thanks! Love the fireplace in the main building, too."
