What Guests Are Saying
“We booked a last minute stay here 2 days before our arrival. We got tickets to see The Cher Show at the Clemens Theater in Elmira…and this was really the better hotel to stay at, rather than stay in Elmira proper. We were greeted by the ever perky, friendly, and helpful Front Desk agent Laurie. She gave us some suggestions for the area, and we checked in easily. We were located in room 424-that we had chosen the day before on the app. The room was super clean. It was a bit dark, and dated-but nothing was worn. The TV was rather small given the size of the room, but worked fine. There was an extra blanket in the closet-very appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot the next morning. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. We used the hot tub in the pool room. We were the only ones in there, so super quiet! The pool was cooler than I would have liked-but I am definitely more of a hot tub person anyway. We would recommend a stay at this hotel for anything in the Elmira area.” — Laurie P., 5 stars
“We stopped for one night on our way back to Michigan from Montreal. The room was very clean, had recently been updated with new carpet, and a refreshed bathroom. The air conditioner worked great, the two queen beds were very comfortable, linens were higher end, there was plenty of parking and the breakfast was ample. They offered 4 kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of juice, yogurt, make your own waffle with two flavors, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, English muffins, several kinds of bread, oatmeal, milk, fresh fruit, and a separate coffee bar. Too bad the price was almost $200.00 with an AARP discount and tax added.” — Sandy D., 5 stars
“Good hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family that live in the area. The hotel had been renovated since our last visit. The hotel was clean and the room was nicely updated. The person who checked us in at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Tiffani, who worked the breakfast in the morning was great. She was working hard to keep everything replenished. Room was clean and spacious. We did have an issue with our room not being serviced at all durning the 3 nights we were there. Pool area looked nice, although we didn’t have the time to swim. Would definitely stay here again while in the area, but do recommend that the bathrooms be renovated and updated.” — hardingk, 4 stars

"Every staff member was super nice. When booking, we mentioned we might need a late checkout and the young man who booked us, made sure to put it on our account, even getting us later than 12. Good selection for breakfast and had flavored creamer for the coffee, which I personally like. Room looked and felt clean. Bed and sheets were comfy. Did not get to use the pool, but it looked nice. Out of the all the hotels in this area, this one had the better reviews and I can see why. Will definitely stay here again if back up this way."

View on Google"I stayed in a whirl pool room. The room is clean and tidy basic amenities like a fridge, microwave, ironing table with iron, blow drier. The whirl pool tub is a super cool touch tucked into the corner of the room very clean and relaxing. Also the TV is a nice bigger TV. One of the better Hamptons I've stayed in. I would say the only thing that could make this hotel any better would be having a restaurant on site."

View on Google"As Hilton Honors members, we stay here often when visiting family. I was very impressed with the renovations made in the last 9 months. The rooms are very clean, updated, and the art work depicting the history of the area is fabulous! I expressed my pleasure immediately to the front desk staff. What I wasn't happy with was the fact that we had a broken shower faucet and my husband and I had to take Cold showers for 2 days before someone was sent up! It was a broken valve in the faucet which was replaced by a very competent gentlemen who fixed it quickly and was apologetic for the disruption. I understand this room was recently renovated and probably had not been occupied yet. I did not get any kind of acknowledgement or apology from the Front Desk. When I initially brought the issue to their attention, I was given the excuse that the cold shower was due to "the time of day" and the fact that many folks were taking showers. Really! In a Hilton Hotel, your water heaters are that inefficient? Again, no acknowledgement from the Front Desk once the issue was solved. One other issue I'd like to bring to Management's attention, the receptacle holding HOT water on the coffee stand in the lobby should be kept HOT all day! It quickly goes cold and is never reheated. Nothing like cold tea in the afternoon! Despite the recent renovations, there are a number of areas lacking. No longer any complimentary bottles of water, and breakfast buffet is just passable."
