About The Hotel

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Geneva Finger Lakes on Hamilton Street is a 4.4-rated (386 reviews) Holiday Inn Express in Geneva, with a pool, free hot breakfast, a fitness center, and a convenient location near the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. It is the best-rated reliable hotel in town — guests praise the clean rooms, the friendly staff, the value, and the central location near wine-country attractions. The pool is the shared water feature; a jetted-tub room is a specific category to confirm at booking, not standard. It is a dependable, well-reviewed chain base for wine-trail visitors and family travelers who want solid value and a central location without the premium price of the lakefront estates.

What Guests Are Saying

“Good overnight stay as we were heading home. This hotel is about 10 miles off Rt. 90 but worth the extra drive. Safe quiet area. Jordan who checked us in, provided exceptional customer service. He was welcoming after a long day of driving, and made sure everything was good for our stay. He is an asset for this property and the IHG brand. Customer service and professionalism of the staff is just as important to us as the room. They go hand in hand for a good stay no matter where you are. The King Suite room we had was clean and comfortable for an older property. Only one elevator which could be slower if the hotel was full, but not much can be done about that. Outside of that the property was well designed and better than some of the newer properties we have stayed at. Pool Area was larger than most and well maintained however the pool was a little cloudy but not a problem. Hot tub was also nice as you do not find them at newer properties. Breakfast was typical IHG fare and what you would expect. They do need some new luggage carts in my opinion for those that use them. That is very minor but more a suggestion for the property to invest in some new ones. We stay at many IHG properties in our travels and this is one my wife and I would recommend for an overnight stop or extended visit to the area. Safe and happy travels everyone. God Bless!” — BugleBoy2016, 5 stars

“I’m a Hilton Honors member and our stay at the IH Express was my first time at this hotel and was part of a block of rooms for a wedding. My wife and I had a suite .. it was clean, roomy and comfortable. Staff were friendly, accommodating and the crew running the breakfast buffet in the lobby were top shelf people who hustled and kept everything stocked. Nice variety of food and beverages for a Continental spread but the pancake machine was unique and made delicious pancakes. The room price was rather high but expected for a pricey tourist area on the lead up to July 4th holiday. In addition, there was a nice pub / restaurant in the same parking lot complex as the hotel that we could easily walk to, especially after a tiring six hour drive to the location. Good combination of businesses.” — BingofLancaster, 5 stars

“Pleasantly surprised by this super-clean, conveniently located hotel. Our king suite had ample amenities, appreciated having a sofa to watch tv from. The complimentary breakfast (and coffee!) was a welcome perk, offering both hot and cold items. The staff were seen frequently cleaning and refreshing the food items. We also walked to neighboring restaurant Kindred Fare for dinner and liked not having to get back in the car to find a nice meal. We would definitely stay here again.” — Table42, 5 stars

"Had a great stay. Room was very clean. Heating and ventilation nice and quiet. Great breakfast. The one issue was that the elevator sounded like it needed some maintenance. Otherwise would definitely stay here again."

"I had a great time here I am little late to review we stayed for Labor Day weekend, Willie at the Front Desk was extremely friendly and let my wife and I check in early. I really appreciated it, my pregnant wife was not feeling good after traveling all day and really needed to lay down ( it was a huge help, he even gave us some great local restaurant recommendations in Geneva). Hotel was clean and nice very comfortable room, all the staff were extremely friendly, great pool area. Great place Thank you!"
