What Guests Are Saying

“We spent two nights in the Summer’s Suite and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Landmark Inn. The hospitality is warm and comfortable, both professional and genuine. It’s delightful to stay in so charming a property without sacrificing the exceptional cleanliness and convenience of the modern updates. The breakfasts are top-notch. Both presentation and service elevate the experience. It’s the extra touches, such as high quality bacon, fresh fruit garnish and generous portions that exceed expectations. Their bespoke coffee mugs are very fun. Dinner recommendations were both excellent. The location is perfect, easily walkable to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Main Street, with restaurants and shops. While our primary focus in going to Cooperstown was the Hall of Fame, Landmark Inn enhanced our experience beyond what we anticipated. Highly recommend and would stay nowhere else in Cooperstown.” — KayRuth, 5 stars

“My husband and I planned a trip to Cooperstown and found the Landmark Inn online. We were surprised and thrilled at how beautiful and special the Landmark is. First, the service and hospitality of John and everyone at the Inn was above and beyond. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Second, every day they prepare a homemade, fresh breakfast which was delicious. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and they were able to adapt the breakfast to meet my dietary needs (no French toast for me). Staying at the Landmark Inn enhanced our entire trip. In our opinion this is the best place to stay in Cooperstown!” — Getaway743669, 5 stars

“Such a cozy and luxurious place to stay. Cooperstown has an interesting history to explore and it was nice to return to the great spaces within the Landmark Inn. The bed in our suite was probably the most comfortable I ever slept in! The staff were so welcoming. Be sure to take your breakfasts at the Inn. Both mornings delivered delicious food. Luckily we also happened to be there for a special dessert tasting event. A lot of sugar but worth it!!” — Ren R., 5 stars

"My husband and I had a one night staycation at the Landmark Inn. It was wonderful! John Henry at the front desk was a joy to chat with while we sat by the fire. The holiday decorations were beautiful and festive. Our room was perfect! Comfy bed, amazing linens, gorgeous bathroom and sooooo clean! We were treated to a nicely presented and super tasty breakfast. We really enjoyed talking with Keith who is one of the owners at breakfast. Everyone we came in contact with was so pleasant. I hope we can find another excuse soon for another staycation at this gem of a place!"

"We truly appreciated the warm hospitality we experienced at the Landmark Inn. Our stop in Cooperstown was a last-minute decision, and we were thrilled to be able to book a stay. Every interaction — with the owners, staff, and even the other guests — reflected an exceptional level of care and kindness. Our room was beautifully appointed and perfectly suited for traveling with our dog. The breakfast was outstanding, the grounds were immaculate and thoughtfully maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to town and plenty of dining options. We are sincerely grateful for the experience, and if we are fortunate enough to return to Cooperstown, the Landmark Inn will be the only place we consider staying. Thank you for helping create such a wonderful memory for us — and Annie sends her thanks as well. God bless all of you."

"The Landmark Inn is the true star of Cooperstown. I've been visiting this inn for years, over 3 owners. There is something truly magical about this place. No matter where I've travelled, I haven't been able to replicate this anywhere else. It's this feeling of returning to long lost friends you haven't seen in awhile. Don't get me wrong, the Landmark has everything that people who love Bed and Breakfast Inns look for. Great food, lots to do in the area, historically significant building, unmatched service by an exceptional staff - everything the dedicated B&B Inn crowd loves. . . but the Landmark has something else that is very hard to quantify into words. There is this sense of place that feels like a warm hug. It's this feeling that everyone who steps into the Landmark instantly belongs there. Over the years I've spoken to numerous other guests about this feeling the inn has and everyone explains it slightly differently, but every response I've ever gotten to the question of - "do you feel like there is something different about this place?" has had some variation of "it feels like a soothing embrace", "slipping into your favorite robe", or "being welcome into the home of a very good friend". This place is unique, amazing, and my favorite thing about Cooperstown. Once you experience the Landmark you'll find yourself visiting often 😊 just like the rest of us."
