What Guests Are Saying
“My wife and I have stayed here many times but not in about 2 years. Since our last stay the hotel has gone through a renovation that took it to another level. The rooms are much nicer than before and the employees were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotless, the best of any Holiday Inn Expresses we’ve stayed in. The only issue we had was it was very cold and windy while we were there and the cold wind was coming through the front entrance making it cold in the lobby/breakfast area. They should install a heated air blast system between the two sets of doors to help eliminate the cold from rushing in every time the doors were opened. The poor desk clerks had to wear coats while working and checking people in and out. And people eating breakfast were also wearing coats to stay warm. Other than that it’s a big improvement from our past stays there.” — kwo911turbo, 5 stars
“Spent the night here catching an early flight out. Very easy check in and very clean property. Room was comfortable, clean and in great condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions. Location is perfect for a quick 3 min drive to the airport. They offer a shuttle if needed, which I may use next time allowing me to turn in the rental car sooner. Recommend this location and I would stay again.” — Alan W., 5 stars
“I had a great time at the Holiday Inn in Buffalo. They were very professional, as a platinum member, We always need to extend our hours and have late check out. Not only did they offer to have a late check out at 1 PM, but they also offered if I needed to stay longer. The people are very friendly and I was strongly. Recommend the Holiday Inn in Buffalo for business and leisure time.” — henry G., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Holiday Inn Express & Suites Buffalo-airport.
"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn across from the Buffalo airport, and from the moment I walked in, I truly felt at home. When I arrived, the hotel had just finished decorating for Christmas, and everything looked absolutely beautiful — cozy, festive, and welcoming. As I was admiring the decorations, a sweet woman with the biggest smile greeted me, gave me a warm hug, and immediately made me feel like part of the family. I believe her name was Lucy, and from what I understand, she oversees housekeeping. Her kindness, joy, and genuine care set the tone for my entire stay. She even took my picture in front of the Christmas tree and made sure I was taken care of as I checked in. When I went up to my room, I noticed that it wasn’t fully cleaned — especially the shower, which definitely needed attention. I went to the front desk to ask for some cleaning supplies so I could just wipe it down myself, but instead, Lucy came up right away to check the room herself. She got on her hands and knees and tried to clean it thoroughly, and as she looked around further, she realized there were more things that did not meet Holiday Inn’s standards. Without hesitation, she went back to the front desk, arranged for me to be moved to another room, and made careful notes about who had cleaned the room so the situation could be corrected. They moved me quickly, upgraded me in a way, and also added extra points to my account to make things right. I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. The following morning, I went down for breakfast and had such a lovely experience. Everything was clean, organized, and delicious. The woman running breakfast was incredibly sweet and friendly. Even though she had a difficult morning herself (her car door froze and she had to take a taxi to work!), she still smiled, served everyone gladly, and took time to tell me all about Buffalo, the snow, and how to prepare since it was my first visit. She was a gift. What stood out to me most about this hotel wasn’t just the nice decorations or the comfortable room I was eventually moved into — it was the people. Their kindness, professionalism, quick problem-solving, and genuine care turned what could have been a frustrating situation into something I was actually grateful for. Yes — I had a small issue with my first room. But because of how quickly and respectfully it was handled, I would still highly recommend staying here. The team went above and beyond to make things right, and that means more than perfection. Thank you to these wonderful ladies for taking such good care of me after a long time of traveling. Your hospitality made Buffalo feel like home. I would absolutely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

View on Google"For the class of hotel that any Holiday Inn might sit in, this gets all the stars. It was clean, reasonably priced, and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We were snowed in and had to stay an extra day and the employees made sure that they could help us in any way that was within their means. From extra bottles of water to fixing a room issue with the heat, to 'Miss Annie' who runs the breakfast room, our stay was great and we'd use this place again. It's with a stone's throw of the airport though a shuttle is always available if the weather is unpleasant or your bags are unwieldy. There is a pool! I wish I'd brought my swimsuit. Be aware that though the breakfast is good there are no dinner options (just some convenience foods down at the reception desk)."

It is difficult to imagine the place being able to function without such stellar people as Lulu and Annie. The only downside I can think of is that such employees rarely get the pay or time off they deserve."
