What Guests Are Saying

“We stayed two nights at The William Vale and had a wonderful experience overall. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was that they accommodate cats, and they were absolutely amazing with our pets. Finding a luxury hotel that genuinely welcomes cats can be difficult, so this was a huge plus for us and made the stay even more enjoyable. First, the customer service was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in Suite 1620, which features a wraparound balcony with breathtaking views stretching across Manhattan all the way to the Brooklyn Bridge. The views alone make this room worth considering. The bathroom was another highlight. The large soaking tub and shower are positioned next to a window overlooking the city, creating a unique and relaxing experience, especially at night. The room itself showed some signs of wear and tear, which suggests it gets a lot of use, but it was still comfortable and enjoyable. A few tips for future guests: * Request a fan if you prefer extra airflow while sleeping. * Have the minibar fridge emptied if you plan to store your own drinks and want to avoid any accidental charges. * Be aware that the bell staff must assist with luggage carts. My only real criticism was the elevator situation. During our stay, only one guest elevator was available, while the others primarily served the rooftop bar. This resulted in long waits and crowded elevator rides, which became frustrating at times. That said, the concierge team was exceptional. They handled a UPS delivery for us flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Despite the elevator issues, the incredible views, outstanding service, and truly pet-friendly atmosphere made for a memorable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with cats.” — Camron S., 5 stars

“we stayed here for a few nights with another couple, there are mixed reviews and to be fair the bad ones aren’t justified! We had a Brooklyn view room with a balcony and our friends were adjoining, the rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are also very good. We arrived and checked in at the lobby, the entrance is not on the street and you walk down a courtyard garden with music and an autumn display which was a nice touch. We walked into the lobby and was greeted by the team on the desk, we were on the 11th floor and facing Brooklyn with a side view of Manhattan. we decided to check out the view from the rooftop bar and its impressive and I recommend anyone heading up to look. the bathroom was pleasant size and had a sliding door with an opaque glass, the shower was very good and the amenities were nice. there were waters left out for you which were replenished daily, the coffee machine was lavazza and was very good. the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were soft and fluffy. to open the door to the balcony there is a knack to opening the door, but once you get it, its super easy” — nicholasg293, 5 stars

“This past week, I stayed at the William Vale for 3 nights while traveling on business. It was my first time at the property and hopefully not the last. A truly exceptional hotel with great on-site restaurants and bars, including the rooftop bar on the 22nd floor with phenomenal river and city views. Modern, impeccably clean, stylish, quiet, comfortable. My room on the 14th floor faced the river and had fantastic views from the balcony. Service by all staff was tremendous. I can’t say enough good things about this property and highly recommend it.” — ViajeroJBW, 5 stars

"We had an unforgettable stay at The William Vale—a true gem in Brooklyn. From the moment we arrived, Daniela and Chanel made us feel like honored guests, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for an exceptional experience. We stayed in the Gotham King with Balcony, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The panoramic views of the city skyline were breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the private balcony offered a serene escape from the urban buzz. Inside, the room blended modern elegance with cozy comfort, and I especially loved the Le Labo bath amenities—the scent lingered as a quiet luxury throughout our stay. A highlight was the winter spa sauna, where the air was infused with eucalyptus essential oil—a small but deeply soothing touch that elevated the entire experience. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Williamsburg. What truly stood out, though, was the genuine care from the entire team. For a special occasion or a well-deserved splurge, The William Vale delivers on every level."
