You get a front-row look at the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan skyline, and the waterfront in a way you simply do not get from even the best five-star hotels in Manhattan. There are very few luxury hotels in Brooklyn at this level, and for me, this is the only place to stay when I come to New York City. I used to stay at The William Vale, but after experiencing poor service there, I made the switch to 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, and the difference has been night and day. The team here treats me incredibly well every time. A special mention goes to Selena, the Guest Experience Assistant Manager. From my very first stay, she went above and beyond. She actually came downstairs during check-in to greet me personally, which is something I have rarely, if ever, experienced at a hotel. She followed up by text and email to make sure everything was perfect, and that level of care made a huge impression. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, calming, and perfectly located. But what really separates it is the combination of world-class views and genuinely thoughtful service. “One Hotel Brooklyn is a true standout in every way. The hotel itself is modern, chic, clean, and has unforgettable views from the rooftop. But what stands out the most is the incredible, warm and welcoming staff. My wife and I shared our 30th wedding anniversary here and the entire staff from the parking attendant to the front desk manager made us feel special. A special shout out to Selena, Justin, Kitty, Vanessa, and Steandly for their kindness and exceptional customer service. But Ms. Adora Lopez takes the cake. She should be running the country. We were blown away with her excellent communication, timely replies, and for her genuinely caring that we had the absolute most memorable time possible. We will always be grateful for her. “We’ve been traveling a lot to Brooklyn since our daughter is attending school at Pratt Institute so we have been up at least 10 times in the past year and we’ve finally found our favorite place to stay. We’ve tried so many places that were closer to Pratt but we always felt disappointed in the cost vs experience. NYC is so expensive to stay in and we were paying a fortune and very underwhelmed. I came up with a girlfriend last weekend and decided to splurge a bit and stay here and I’m hooked and don’t want to go anywhere else! The vibe was amazing and felt so peaceful and serene which is wild to be right in the heart of DUMBO. Every staff member was very attentive. The drinks and food were great.
