"This is true remote luxury in a private nook of the woods, offering genuine quiet. I took my spouse here between 2018 and 2022. It is incredibly clean and gorgeous, featuring hand-carved, picturesque details of forest animals throughout the cabin. They have a DVD player and TV. There is a walk-in shower and a huge jetted garden tub, which two very tall and even overweight people can comfortably enjoy. You need to bring your own take out for the trip, there is no wifi which I love but in my opinion noone should need the phone even to look at game scores quickly (I am not paying for luxury to be online or connected to the world), and they have complimentry simple snacks, and i do reccommend bringing your own soaps, a foot heating pack, an ice pack or two for head aches, a huge pack of water or a few gallons, and comfy pillows and blankets you prefer. They have a fully made bed, which is nice, but I freeze, and I am boogie. Your own movies, or a book and a nightlight would be good if you are a night owl. It was perfectly accommodating to luxury, and I adore the no wifi for avoiding all the modern 'convenience' of connectedness, which most want to escape for true quality time (because it becomes an inconvenience). It is close enough to a small town for emergencies. Spouse and I loved it and plan to go back eventually. You see lightning bugs again and families of deer, and the frogs and krickets. No light pollution and starts are really visible. I cannot wait to go back been too long. Lyndsay & Keith"

"Just getting home and couldn't wait to write a review ..we stayed Tuesday til Friday.. we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and 18 years together ❤️ we aren't go on a trip kind of ppl but I am so happy we agreed to this trip . Its secluded and very beautiful.. the cabin was clean had all of my cooking utensils already in there..just bring food . The cabin has some food but the amount of time we stayed I'm glad there was a walmart 20 minutes up the road.. we stocked up on what we needed and never left the cabin again.. it was surrounded by The Most High creations.. it was an awesome trip.. cell phone worked a bit on the screened in back porch but wasn't needed at all.. if you are thinking of a secluded cabin get away THIS IS IT.. we loved every moment of it.. Thanks to the owners for a well thought out couple get away..only thing I would add besides bringing food is bringing water.. book this cabin and enjoy a little bit of silence and peace.. until next time The Mckay's. P.S. the Ghost movie that was already in the cabin took me wayyyy back..best love story EVER 🥰 AMAZING"

"It was our 1st stay. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The cabin was beautifully done and in a beautiful setting. It was stocked perfectly for our weekend away. We had great privacy, and the hosts procured us really great local steaks for our dinner. 10/10 would stay here again and again. We are planning a birthday trip here already!"
