What Guests Are Saying
“We only stayed one night here and wish we had more time! It is better than the pictures and lives up to the reviews. We celebrated our anniversary with a hot air balloon flight and then stayed the night here and it was such a memorable experience. Super clean, comfy with all the amenities. Loved that they had hot water for tea at the ready, complimentary drinks and snacks, a candle for the jacuzzi tub! Breakfast was great and Sally and staff were so kind. Those little things really make a place special. We enjoyed a walk on the rail trail in the morning, which is basically right across the street. Would def stay again!” — Trina C., 5 stars
“While we were only there for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Sally was a gracious hostess and a joy to chat with! Our room was comfortable and very clean. As it was a lovely day, my husband and I took full advantage of the front patio where we sat and read. While normally we enjoy being near a city center with walkable restaurants and shops, this was a nice change of pace. Breakfast, complete with farm fresh eggs from the family’s farm, was plentiful and delicious. Full access to drinks and coffee all day was also I nice touch.” — Janet S., 5 stars
“Spent a last minute anniversary getaway at the Wampler House. Location is close to downtown but also far enough to feel like an escape. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Smart TV and very warm gas fireplace. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and ice available all day, and a few snacks and bottled water in the room. Breakfast was fantastic. Would have easily spent $30+ for equivalent in town. Local coffee as well. Would absolutely recommend and will be back!” — Carey Y., 5 stars

View on Google"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Wampler House in Bloomington Indiana. We were in town visiting our son at IU, this was a short 10 minute drive to the university. The B&B was wonderful. From the ease of check-in and communication ahead of time with Marc, the very comfortable and home like rooms to the AMAZING breakfasts and hospitality. Sally and Amber even surprised my wife for her birthday. It truly made her day. We will definitely be returning for (hopefully) all remaining visits to Bloomington! So glad we found the Wampler House!"

View on Google"Our stay at the Wampler house was great. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing and the gas fireplace was very nice. Everything was super clean. The house has lots of neat areas to enjoy. The weekend breakfast was amazingly good. Amber was so very sweet and did an excellent job in cooking and serving. Sally and Marc were both very nice and easy to communicate with. There’s a great walking area very close, that we enjoyed both mornings. I highly recommend The Wampler house for a nice, quiet, relaxing getaway!"
