"I recently stayed at the inn to work a wedding. I am a hair and makeup artists and the bridal party stayed at the inn and I got them all ready there. The staff were exceptional! Everyone was so kind, offered and helped me with my heavy equipment. Constantly made sure everyone was taken care of. The rooms were clean and well kept. Highly recommend!"

The accommodations were impeccable— elegant and comfortable. But the true highlight of our visit was the exquisite breakfast. Served in a beautifully preserved Victorian parlor, we enjoyed a freshly prepared in-house meal, quality tea, and the most delightful homemade scones. It was a true feast for both the senses and the soul, exactly what we were looking for. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. This experience is one we will always fondly remember. We cannot recommend it highly enough."

View on Google"My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the 1842 inn. We had mint juleps and complimentary hors d'oeuvres on the veranda. Our room came with robes and slippers and our beds were some of the softest I’ve ever slept on! Before we left we had tea on the veranda. All the employees were so nice and helpful! If we are ever in Macon, Ga we will be happy to stay again!"
