"I recently stayed at the inn to work a wedding. I am a hair and makeup artists and the bridal party stayed at the inn and I got them all ready there. The staff were exceptional! Everyone was so kind, offered and helped me with my heavy equipment. Constantly made sure everyone was taken care of. The rooms were clean and well kept. Highly recommend!"

"My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the 1842 inn. We had mint juleps and complimentary hors d'oeuvres on the veranda. Our room came with robes and slippers and our beds were some of the softest I’ve ever slept on! Before we left we had tea on the veranda. All the employees were so nice and helpful! If we are ever in Macon, Ga we will be happy to stay again!"

"The room was very spacious, clean and recently updated. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean, roomy, and had plenty of hot water. We had a dog and were welcomed. There were other dogs in our end of the hotel. Very accommodating for dogs. We were very happy with our stay."

"I checked in with Chevita last evening and she was very pleasant and professional. She answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make my family comfortable. I actually thought she was the Manager. She would make an excellent Manager! I know a lot of companies that would love Chevita to be part of their Management Staff. Thank you so much."

"The staff at the Microtel were awesome! One young lady even made me a fresh pot of coffee at night! I really appreciated that. In the morning the manager made sure to verify that we were ok and did not need anything else. I gave the motel itself a 4, but that is just because my personal bed was a little lumpy. We will definitely return here."

"Great value and location for I-75 travelers. The hotel could use a fresh carpet but the rooms are very clean and the beds surprisingly comfortable. Also dog friendly for a small fee."
