About The Hotel

Carriage Way Centennial is a 4-star adults-only B&B at 26 Cordova Street in the walled Colonial Quarter. Rated 4.7 across 1,254 reviews with 4.8 cleanliness, 5.0 location, 4.8 rooms, 4.8 service, 4.8 sleep quality, 4.7 value - remarkably consistent. Amenities include free parking, free breakfast, walking tours, board games/puzzles, adults-only format, newspaper and 24-hour check-in flexibility. Recent 5-star guests cite 5-year-anniversary getaways with staff member Lisa providing property details and local recommendations plus Citrine-room stays; a 54th-anniversary couple wrote ‘From the moment we arrived for our 54th anniversary, they Mistreated me like family !’ with staff-name Aryanna serving drinks in the room; first-time B&B guests praise the ‘very relaxed atmosphere’; quiet-neighborhood praise appears repeatedly. Legacy ‘whirlpool-bathtub’ amenity in property listings but no confirming TA review-text in the current data set - a returning guest would need to confirm room-by-room availability at booking. Best for adults-only historic-B&B couples wanting a walking-tour + 24-hour check-in Colonial Quarter base without needing an in-room tub as the primary priority.

What Guests Are Saying

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 5 year dating anniversary. Checking in was very easy, and Lisa gave us not only details about both properties but also local recommendations for us to try! We stayed in Citrine and it was absolutely perfect for a couple who is only staying a couple of nights. Breakfast both mornings was DELICIOUS and you truly can’t beat the price with all that is included! The sherry was delicious, complimentary sodas and water, the cold herbal towelettes, lavender pouches, and all the coffee and tea we could want! We even were given a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate, and it was a lovely start to our trip. There were several couples who hung around the parlor and chatted both nights we stayed (totally fun for couples who are more social…my boyfriend and I are really shy and didn’t socialize much) which made it feel like a home and not a hotel. I will 100% be booking again, either here or the main parlor. I cannot recommend this place enough for a romantic getaway!” — micheala_danae, 5 stars

“The inn was very charming. I loved how each room had a theme. We stayed in the Jade room. The decor was very cute. The bed was beautiful and very cozy after exploring all day. The breakfasts were top notch and I enjoyed chatting with Lisa, the inn keeper each morning ! On top of all of that, there were also little added bonuses each day- cookies, daily coffee bar, bedtime chocolates, cold drinks, and wine! The location was amazing! It was about a 5 minute walk to the historic district. The price was just right too. Honestly, I would think the inn would charge more.” — Amanda C., 5 stars

“From the moment we arrived for our 54th anniversary, they Mistreated me like family ! First they put us in the Latrine room, //then Lisa refused to bring me breakfast in bed….Aryanna would not serve me drinks in the room, Cindy insisted I stop helping other guests, and Eva refused marry me and give me a message with a happy ending….whatever that is. When we were leaving, they all seemed very happy….. ………Sooooo, I guess I’ll have to keep going back over and over until they treat me better……..!” — Andy G., 5 stars

"Thank you to all the great staffs for making our stay so exceptional! Great experience! Special thanks to Christine. She was amazing! Our room was spacious , beautiful and very comfortable! Coffees, teas, sodas, waters around the clock. Delicious breakfast and cookies in the afternoons. Great location. Walking distance to the fortress, marina and all the restaurants and shops. Didn’t use our car during our stay. I Highly recommend this Inn. As a senior, I love the fact that it’s for adults only."

"Husband and I have stayed in various B&Bs in St. Augustine. This was our first stay with Carriage Way but it will return. Our room was in the Centennial House across the street but didn't seem neglected at all. Though we do not drink wine, to see it along with soda and bottled water offered freely was unexpected. We did not take advantage of the provided games nor the dining table but did enjoy morning coffee on the sun porch before strolling around town. Three short blocks from historic downtown made it a perfect location. And did I mention the morning breakfast? Divine. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend"
