What Guests Are Saying

“I absolutely loved that we picked this B&B for our honeymoon! The staff were very communicative, helpful, friendly, and efficient. Check in and checkout was very quick & easy. Our room was clean and presentable, we were super pleased when we saw that we had a bathtub with jacuzzi jets plus a walk in shower with two heads instead of just one. And we especially loved how comfortable our King sized bed was. This B&B is in a very calm and pleasant neighborhood with lovely views plus shops and restaurants that are within a decent walking distance. We had zero complaints when it came to noise. You definitely feel at peace when you stay here. Breakfast was always delicious and it’s so convenient how they send you text alerts 24 hours ahead of time to know what time you’d like your food delivered to you in the morning or whether or not your room needs a quick refresher. If this is your first time visiting Saint Augustine and are looking for a cozy, romantic place to stay for two? Definitely give Bayfront Marin House a shot. You will not regret it.” — Jislane C., 5 stars

“Such a charming, beautiful bed & breakfast! The property has beautiful flowers, pretty courtyard with lots of seating & our room las large with so many gorgeous details…chandelier, upholstered headboard, really nice linens, plush towel, toiletries, electric fireplace for ambiance, large walk-in shower! Every morning breakfast was amazing & we had the choice to have it brought to our room or the courtyard! Happy hour every evening with different snacks daily & wide range of choices for drinks again in our room or courtyard! The staff is so accommodating, friendly & attentive! We felt so very pampered! The location is perfect, beautiful view of the bay & we walked to restaurants & the historic district! Free parking in a private lot was a huge bonus! They are also pet friendly so we could bring our Yorkie with us!” — Bambi C., 5 stars

“Everyone is friendly and professional: people at the front desk (who answer LIVE—no “press 1 for this, 2 for that), we met one of the housekeepers, Jade, who invited us into Aviles Cottage to preview the property for our next stay, and the people who delivering breakfast/happy hour (if you want those delivered.). Management does a great job of training and keeping their employees happy because it really shows. The hhotos of the properties accurately reflect accommodations. Our Hacienda Suite and the Aviles Cottage were immaculately clean. The food at both breakfast and happy hour is delicious. You will be making a great decision by booking at Bayfront Marin House for your next trip to St. Augustine.” — Katie, 5 stars

"This was my first visit to Bayfront Marin House. We are frequent visitors to St Augustine and most of our stays have been at a nearby famous inn, but there was no availability on the 29th so spent our third night here. This will be our new "go to" Inn! Staff was professional and accommodating. Room was immaculate and well apportioned for its size. Shower was hot with plenty of water pressure which is an issue with every inn in St Augustine we have ever visited. Breakfast exceeded expectations and was delivered to the room an very nice touch. Upon check out, office staff was extremely friendly and making sure I was well taken care of, with smiles. A welcome site in a busy tourist area like this. Sarah went out of her way to introduce herself and help me and she was new and so very kind. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with a lovely stained glass village in our room! We will be back soon and often. THANK YOU! Jim M"

"Location is a huge perk. Around the corner from the main attractions in Old Town St. Augustine. Parking is at a Premium in town, it was much appreciated to be able to obtain a Parking Pass the morning of check-in, and park at the Bed and Breakfast designated area. A short walk along the bay. The room " Bridge of Lions", was surprisingly comfortable. I was amazed to find the large bath tub, completely with jacuzzi jets. Comfortable chairs, nice shower and love the olive soap. Service is amazing. They encourage texting, and are prompt with responding to questions. " Happy Hour" is via Room Service. A nice surprise. Breakfast was also delivered, with options for times. Very prompt service. We splurged and got the Carriage Package. To be honest, most amazing Chocolate covered Strawberries. Very convienent for the Horse and Carriage to show up in front of our room. Breakfast was more than adequate, with icy cold Mimosas. ( not sure if that was part of extra package, or standard). Could use a larger coffee pot. My only suggestion would be to serve a little more of something with the " pigs in the blanket" Happy Hour tray. ( my husband was disappointed no mustard). The beer was a nice touch, and little pastries. Perhaps some sliced carrots, grapes or dill pickles. A wonderful experience. We will return!"

"My husband and I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Bayfront Marin House, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing. We split our time between the Lookout Suite on the beach and the Jose Simeon room in downtown St. Augustine, and both experiences were unforgettable. The Lookout Suite was truly special — direct beach access, a private deck perfect for watching the sunrise, and the relaxing sound of the waves just steps away. Then, downtown, the Jose Sanchez room made us feel like we had stepped into a little castle. The historic charm, beautiful decor, and prime location were just stunning. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff’s attention to detail and warmth made us feel so cared for throughout our stay. And the breakfast? Incredible! No matter whether you’re at the beach house or downtown, breakfast is delivered right to your room — fresh, delicious, and such a treat to start the day. Bayfront Marin House is the perfect blend of luxury, history, and thoughtful hospitality. We’re already planning our return trip — I can’t wait to go back!"
