“We went back and forth deciding on staying close to Duval Street or on the other end in some of the newer resorts. We opted for Pier House because it had everything we needed and the location was perfect. SO THANKFUL we did this!! We drove to the other resorts we looked at and they were so far from everything, had zero beach area or the beach was covered in seaweed. This is definitely the spot! Yes the beach area is smaller but there are plenty of chairs, we never had to wait to find one or come early to secure it. The bar area with music is right by the beach and pool so that sets the vibe! Fast service with drinks, we are at the restaurant on sight a few times and it was good (a little spendy but everything in Key West is we’ve found). There’s a CVS right across the street to get water or snacks to cut some of the costs. The rooms are very nice. We actually loved the beds and the AC and slept better than we do at home! We rented a golf cart one day and drove around the island and while pretty; this really is the best spot. We stayed in one of the basic rooms and while there’s no view on the patio (palm trees) the room itself was very nice! If we came back, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!” — Katy D., 5 stars

“Overall: 09 / 10 Cleanliness: 10 / 10 Sleep Quality: 10 / 10 (My room was located in the SPA building, where it was very quiet) Bathroom: 10 / 10 (The bathroom was very spacious) Wi-Fi: 10 / 10 (Top speed, video streaming worked without any problems) Location: 10 / 10 (Perfect location near the pier, with many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. However, driving there can be a bit tedious due to the many tourists on the streets) Service: 10 / 10 (Extremely friendly staff) Dining: There are several restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Shopping Tip: Just a few meters away is a large supermarket for daily needs. Parking Info: There are plenty of parking spaces on the property where even larger vehicles can be parked without any problems. Top Feature: My room had a huge balcony where I could enjoy the warm evenings. Flop Feature: Some furnishings in the restaurant were slightly rusted, likely due to the salty sea air. A little more maintenance would do some good here. Conclusion: Good accommodation in Key West. “If you’re looking for the best of the best in Key West, Pier House is it. The staff, the location, the views and the food are all top tier. The property is close to everything and yet feels secluded from the craziness of Duval, quiet as can be. You can feel the stress melt away as you walk through the impeccable grounds to the full service private beach and pool. The staff are extremely attentive, checking in the exact right amount to see if you need a new drink or some food. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the smoothest pina colada I’ve ever had. The rooms are well appointed, spotless and well airconditioned. There’s nothing like waking up to an unobstructed view of paradise.
