Beachside Resort & Residences
"The 4.3 Beachside Resort — big Roosevelt Blvd condo-resort with candid dated and beach flags."
About The Hotel
Beachside Resort & Residences is a 4.3-rated (3,684 reviews) big-property condo-and-resort at 3841 North Roosevelt Boulevard north of Old Town with fitness center, pool, bar/lounge, beach, bike rental and kids-stay-free. Subratings show cleanliness 4.6, rooms 4.5 and sleep quality 4.5 as strengths but location softer at 3.9. Positive stays note the condo comfort, but CANDID FLAGS run heavy in recent reviews: a 1-star ‘Disappointment. Fake pictures’ flagged ‘small pool and even smaller beach area — man-made about 200 sq ft with rocks, seaweed and broken chairs. All elevators broken. Very dated’; a 1-star flagged 5:30 PM room-not-ready; a 2-star said ‘very mediocre — overcharge for full housekeeping, private beach is misleading — tiny strip of sand’; another 1-star flagged disgusting stair hand rails, dirty door handles, sliding-door lock broken and no room safe. Off-Old-Town condo-resort with heavy candid flags — set expectations for the North Roosevelt Blvd setting.
What Guests Are Saying
“First thing I want to let people know is elevators in building one and six don’t work. Didn’t make my vacation as enjoyable, because we were on 3rd floor and I’m 79. Elevators have been out for a month. Room was lovely, kitchen was fully equipped and there was washer and dryer. We stayed in 2bed 2bath, sleeper sofa and 6 people. Loved our night kayaking tour. I had never kayaked before, but put with my daughter that has, so was a good time. Shuttle to old town was a very nice way to travel as parking in old town is not easy to find.” — Sandra V., 4 stars
“This is not a hotel. As the reception explained diligently last night they are more like an Air B&B. Your room is not serviced every day, not even at $500 a night for your room. Not even a comp bottle of water in your room. If you want these things you have to ask in advance and be prepared to pay more!! For $500 a night you get a gorgeous room with a comfortable bed and great A/C. Good location just 20 min can ride to Mallory Square. Worth noting, the Trolly tour you can buy in the square actually stops right opposite the hotel. This was a great stay, but be warned, you get nothing but a room and not even that is serviced unless you ask. They have even taken the phones out of the rooms so you have a long walk to reception.” — John C., 3 stars
“Booked this trip as a getaway from cold weather. Nice pool, and restaurant in the hotel was very nice but expensive. Rooms were comfortable, but there was no room service to speak of. Even when I asked for it, no one came. So 5 days with no one coming to sweep sandy floors, refresh towels etc. Overall, the property needs to be updated. It is a distance from Duval Street, so noise wasn’t a concern, but needed transportation which the hotel offered a shuttle to Duval Street.” — Linda B., 3 stars

What guests are saying about Beachside Resort & Residences.
"We had a great stay here for a moderately sized family gathering over Thanksgiving! The kitchens were perfectly furnished such that we were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal and the rooms were big enough to fit all of us! The staff was very responsive and several times brought things to our rooms when contacted via text message. The kids loved the fishing pier and pool area. Overall great stay!"

View on Google"It was surprisingly big space for vacation. It was clean, chic and comfortable. There is nice restaurant on the site. Came handy for couples night out after kids are asleep, not too far from room. It was spacious. I wish to come there again and again, family friendly, pots pans, laundry detergent soap and stuff. I loved it. Our family enjoyed it. Sofas were so comfy, it can fit two people comfortably to sleep on."

Pool and outside bar were great. Restaurant was excellent. Great service by the entire staff during our stay. Shuttle service to Duvall street every hour was a great perk. Highly recommended and we will be back!"
