What Guests Are Saying
“We had four nights here at the end of April and can’t fault the stay at all. When we arrived as we had not pre-paid parking and had read that there may be on street parking available, we were met by the lovely receptionist (sorry we didn’t get her name) who very kindly held a spot outside the hotel for us by going and standing in it while we got sorted, Our room was in the annexe across the street and although there were a few stairs to access it, the room and the little balcony outside were beautiful. Four poster bed and a massive bathroom with spa bath in was a plus. Fridge and microwave in the room were most helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location in a lovely tree lined are and is a very safe walk into the main street a couple of blocks away. As it is pretty much central to the length of Duval Street you can walk easily along the length of it from the Atlantic to the Gulf of America. Which we did several times. Service was impeccable from the cleaning staff and reception staff thanks. Buffet style breakfast served from the gazebo adjacent to the pool was a lovely touch. We had unlimited bacon, eggs bagels, toast, muffins fruit and most other staple breakfast fare with as much tea, coffee and fruit juice you wanted. Definitely an amazing gem of a place.” — Steve R., 5 stars
“Just enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the ambrosia, it’s a quirky historical building as you would expect and it’s full of character. We stayed across the street from the main building and it was very comfortable. Location is fantastic as you’re close enough to everything but far enough away to get some peace. Breakfast around the pool is nice with the usual fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs and pancakes, lots of coffee to start your day too. A little tip, for some nice healthier food alternatives to Duval Street try The Cafe’ just around the corner on Southard Street, really good food. Also parking on Southard Street lot (if you can’t find a space on the street) is available for $15 a day.” — George E., 5 stars
“We booked a quick trip to Key West and luckily found this place. Easy to walk from the marina as well as Duval Street. Since it was such a short trip we did not have an opportunity to take advantage of 2 pools but they were well landscaped and looked like a personal oasis. Staff was lovely as well. While breakfast options were not large it was enough to get you started for the day. Our room was well played out and very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!” — work2hard11, 5 stars

"This is a beautiful spot in the heart of Old Town. Our room was amazing, private and spotless. Wrap around porch, pools were surrounded by lush foliage, so serene and picturesque. We were here for our anniversary and the staff was wonderful and accomodating. We will be back!"

View on Google"Clean and well equipped rooms. Only set back was that after 3 days we had a dumpster inside the room because we never got room service or had anyone ask if we wanted it. Since our unit was across the street it wasn’t like we could saunter over to the reception to request it. However it was nice, clean and cool. The best part was the location, just a block up from all the action on Duval St."
