What Guests Are Saying
“My husband and I stayed here while visiting friends on Sanibel Island, which is just over the causeway. We were very pleased with our room on the first floor with a view of the pool area, which was clean and very nice. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to get us in a little bit early and also a couple of extra hours at the end of our stay. Lorraine at the front desk was especially kind and gracious to us. The rooms were obviously recently renovated with upgraded bathrooms and comfortable beds. We would stay here again.” — Barbara S., 5 stars
“Wonderful location, 5 min to almost everything, Sanibel Bridge, Ft Meyers Bridge, 1 min to Publix, really close to everything. Super value for the money. Hotel has been updated. Shows some sign of wear but for the price can’t be beat. Hotel was busy the whole week. Pool is much nicer than like hotels. Hot tub didn’t work the best and needs more heat, but overall a WIN. Booked 4 nights and found it so convenient we stayed 7 and never moved to our next location. A real gem in a perfect location. Staff were friendly and helpful.” — 471kima, 5 stars
“Holiday weekend stay for the 4th. Minutes from the causeway and Sanibel. Close to several restaurants and shops. Great value. Facilities and amenities nice enough. Friendly staff.” — Justin C., 5 stars

What guests are saying about La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft..
"My husband and I just spent 3 nights here. The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was huge! Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We were on the second floor so neighbors all around and didn’t hear a thing from them. The pool area is clean and huge! Continental breakfast was great. They had a waffle maker, eggs, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, fruit and yogurt. Coffee, tea , hot chocolate and juice. The room had a dehumidifier and as long as it was running the room was not musty (Florida humidity). The only suggestion I have is more lighting in the rooms. They were very dimly lit. I would definitely recommend and stay again. The location was perfect!"

View on Google"My son and I stayed there recently for 2 nights. It’s a simple hotel, but room was very clean, towels changed daily, which is what we were looking for. Very quiet location, close distance to Fort Myers Beach. Beds were comfortable which we appreciated after our 2 busy days. Breakfast offered plenty for everyone. Definitely recommend this hotel."

View on Google"I arrived really late at night on Friday 10/3 (into Saturday) and had a great interaction with the woman working. Unfortunately, the room had a very strong mildew smell. When I went back down to request another room, she assisted me with finding an alternative room. This took some time because it seems that all of the rooms with carpet have the same mildew smell. I was given a first-floor room that has laminate flooring and did not smell. Mind you, it is the middle of the night, and she gladly helped me until I found a room that I could stay in. I want her to receive kudos because most people wouldn't have taken as much time as she did to ensure that I was comfortable in the room that I was going to stay in. The room was well worth the price, yes there is some wear and tear but nothing excessive like some of the previous reviews. I really enjoyed the LED mirror in the bathroom and the back lighting on the bed as it made the room feel cozy. The location was perfect and only a short 10-minute lyft to the beach. My only suggestion for the hotel would be to remove the carpeting as the smell is very strong. It might be worth it to place laminate flooring on all levels."
