What Guests Are Saying

“My stay at the Viceroy Washington DC was exceptional, and a major reason for that was Natasha at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm, personable, engaging, and genuinely funny. She has a natural ability to make guests feel immediately welcomed and comfortable. Natasha went above and beyond throughout my stay, displaying the type of thoughtful, attentive hospitality that truly sets a luxury hotel apart. She was professional while still being authentic and personable, and every interaction with her added something positive to my experience. The Viceroy is fortunate to have someone like Natasha representing the hotel. She is an outstanding ambassador for the property and deserves to be recognized for delivering such memorable service. I would gladly return, not only because of the beautiful hotel, but because of the exceptional hospitality Natasha provided.” — Douglas, 5 stars

First impressions are set by Karen’s professionalism at the front desk, followed by Daniel’s proficiency in banquet service and the team’s event management expertise. The food is terrific, the guest rooms are spacious, and the meeting rooms are well equipped. An excellent experience all the way around!” — Shannon S., 5 stars

"I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Viceroy in Washington, D.C. Zack at the reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His friendly demeanor and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel and Zack’s outstanding service! I just came to edit and add Naomi to the hall equation of how professional and sweet they were to me at the hotel! I had a fantastic experience with Nomi at the Hotel Viceroy. After struggling to sleep, I came downstairs around 5 AM and asked her for a late checkout. She was incredibly sweet and professional, and graciously extended my checkout time to 1 PM. Her helpfulness truly made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend her outstanding service!"

"We spent Halloween weekend in DC and the Viceroy was the perfect stay. It is located near everything, you can walk, ride the train or even Uber through the city. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating for our needs. The room was nice, clean and a great size for a couples trip. They have an onsite restaurant and coffee shop as well. If you want to stay a chic, stylish and hint of luxury this is the hotel to pick. I would definitely stay here again when I visit DC."

"Chose the Viceroy for our family's annual DC Christmas trip. Booked through AMEX Travel with the Platinum card. Perks included a $60/day breakfast credit and a $100 credit since we stayed for multiple nights. We also took advantage of the 1pm late checkout since we partied hard our last night in town! The property has a boutique feel to it with lots of nice touches, including a reading nook in the lobby and a fire pit for those chilly winter nights. Our king room was spacious with a nice sized bathroom and a sitting area. I enjoyed the hardwood floors (think less winter static shock!) but obviously there was more noise output. Rooms have modern smart TVs, fridges and bathrobes - all things we appreciate. The only negatives were drafty windows and a small closet with limited clothes hangers. I also would recommend a recycling bin in guest rooms for cans and bottles. Housekeeping was on point and we left a small tip for timely service. We used our property credit at the hotel restaurant, Dovetail. They deserve their own review, but in short I'll just say we recommend their happy hour and that they exceeded expectations. The location was a 9/10. Not near the Metro but right on the 14th Street corridor with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. If you want to save on Ubers, there is frequent bus service on the D50 that takes you to the National Mall or the Waterfront (or to MacPherson Sq Metro). A few hours after we checked out, we noticed we had forgotten to pack a small bag in the room with over $100 in merchandise from the Washington Ballet. I called and got a hold of Moe at the front desk who was able to coordinate the retrieval of the bag, and he immediately called me back to let me know the good news. Thank you again! Top notch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we'd love to come back in the summer to check out the pool!"
