“I contacted the Mansion on O Street for more information about the place after my son and his girlfriend told me they were taking me there as a birthday gift. Nancy promptly called me back and provided me with a lot of information about the mansion’s history which made me even more excited to visit. I loved the experience - we didn’t feel rushed and the staff was friendly and professional. What a beautiful place filled with beautiful items for sale - a lot of the items I saw brought back fond memories of my past such as the Wizard of Oz display ,the Beatles, Star Wars, and Barbie, just to name a few. We did find 8 or 9 secret doors and had so much fun. There is so much to see and I will definitely be back in the near future - thank you Nancy and staff for making our experience a memorable one and thank you for all you do for the community, I wish there were more places like the O Street Museum - a classy place with a wonderful history and a great staff that runs it. “A completely different experience than any other museum in D.C. The beginning of the self guided experience is worth listening to every word. Its walls (that open) must have amazing stories to tell. Try and find as many hidden entrances that move you from room to hallway to room. It’s surreal as there are actual guests staying in the mansion. The amount of incredible memorabilia in this Mansion is overwhelming and every piece is for sale. As it’s an Inn as well as a museum there is a bar to stop in when you find your way back. Depending on your time limits, this could be an hour visit or three. A little off the beaten path, still hanging on to a “hidden gem” - loved it” — Fenway6, 5 stars

"This was the coolest museum I’ve ever been to in my life and one of the closest places I think I’ll ever visit -ever. It was the most amazing thing to be able to find all these secret passages and doors and explore. I cannot say enough good about this place!! Even just all the artifacts and memorabilia was so fun to look through. I even got to meet the owner and she was delightful. I cannot recommend this place enough!"

View on Google"Great experience! Went with a friend for a day trip. A bit tricky to find the entrance as it is a series of 5 conjoined townhomes, so follow the signage closely to enter (go up the stairs and ring the doorbell). The attendants were very helpful as they led us to a room where we had a brief 5 minute introductory video as well as instructions and house rules. It was a great time exploring and finding doors and hidden entrances. The crowd sometimes helps reveal which doors they came out of that you may have missed! Some of the rooms were fully functional for guests who would like to rent out of the hotel. The vacant ones were open to explore with the various antiques and historical items. Nearly all of the items you see on display are available to purchase. Also each room had a theme which was very cool and interesting displaying cool historical facts about certain exhibits within. My friend and I did take about a good 2 hours to make sure we were as thorough as possible. This is the perfect opportunity for nosey people who love to investigate! Had a awesome time! Great for a day trip and we'll worth the admission."

View on Google"The O Museum is seriously one of the coolest places ever. It’s full of secret doors and hidden rooms as you guys know, I found about a third of them, which was awesome. Every room has something different, and the stuff they have for sale, like the paintings and guitars, is super cool too. The whole place feels like a giant mystery house, which it literally is. And it’s such an awesome place to explore. Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in D.C!"
