What Guests Are Saying

“Unfortunately, our original room had no air conditioning, making our first night very uncomfortable. We later learned that the AC issue had affected multiple rooms, and the staff was dealing with numerous frustrated guests and checkouts because of it. Despite being under an incredible amount of pressure, every member of the team remained calm, professional, and genuinely focused on taking care of their guests. We were considering checking out and heading home, but before leaving, we asked if we could still return that evening to access the rooftop for the Fourth of July fireworks. Not only did they graciously say yes, but Alex Quander and Roanelle (I apologize if I’ve misspelled your name) went above and beyond by offering to upgrade us to a new room as soon as one became available around 3:00 p.m. That thoughtful gesture completely changed our stay and allowed us to enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend. The rooftop views of the fireworks were spectacular, and thanks to Alex and Roanelle’s kindness, professionalism, and commitment to making things right, what could have been a disappointing experience became a memorable one. No hotel is immune to unexpected problems, but what defines a luxury property is how its team responds. Rosewood is fortunate to have employees like Alex and Roanelle, who exemplify genuine hospitality and world-class customer service. We sincerely appreciate everything they did for us and look forward to returning.” — Kim C., 5 stars

“My wife and I were in Washington for an event involving our son-in-law and we decided to stay at the Rosewood. I reserved a corner room but when we arrived they treated us to an upgrade in a townhouse. WOW! It really spoiled us. On 3 floors it had a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and a washer/dryer in the basement. Also, there was a private patio where we could drink our coffee in the morning. My wife was impressed by the “magic” toilet as the lid lifted automatically when you walked in. That’s all I’ll say about that one but it held other surprises too. Everything had a high quality, upgraded feel. Everyone we met was very friendly and eager for us to enjoy our stay. The restaurant served a great breakfast and CUT was wonderful in the evening. In addition, the Georgetown neighborhood is quiet and peaceful even though very near to the action of the touristy areas. I can’t recommend this one enough.” — petfoodguy, 5 stars

“We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing from start to finish. Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, brilliant shower, great work desk for my husband who had to do some work whilst we were there and the most helpful hotel staff ever! So many small and thoughtful touches, cartons of water at every turn, wonderful turn down service in the evening, great housekeeping and very helpful concierge. We met the GM who took the time to ask us about our stay and find out if everything was ok for us. Brilliant.” — Travellhound, 5 stars

"I had THE BEST experience at the Rosewood! The staff was incredible, it felt like old school hospitality where people liked their jobs and were nurturing and welcoming to their guests. The food was excellent (quite expensive, but there was a brunch credit with the room rez). The room was impeccable. The location is fantastic!! Right in the heart of Georgetown, close to everything, walkable and parking easy. A few notes for the hotel: the electronics in the rooms could be upgraded someday (usb ports etc), things felt slightly outdated. And the male bartender in the evening lobby bar did not provide the same level of polite service as the rest of the staff, he was a bit rude/edgy. Other than that, the stay was perfect and I can’t wait to return! I will definitely stay with Rosewood Hotels whenever possible!"

"My stay at Rosewood Washington, D.C. was exceptional from start to finish. The Front Desk team — Ajit, Ny Aina, and Daniel — provided a warm welcome and consistently excellent service throughout my visit. A special thank-you to Alex Q., Assistant Front Office Manager, for his professionalism and attention to detail. The F&B team — Zully, Madaya, and Luz — was incredibly kind, and the dining experience was consistently impressive. The Bellman/Valet staff — Endale, Zelalem, and Dawit — were efficient, helpful, and always friendly. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing stay in the heart of Washington, D.C."

"My stay was absolutely fantastic. This hotel has some of the best staff and customer service I've ever experience, and I travel around the world at top hotels monthly. My townhome was amazing and felt just like home. The cuisine is amazing, and the location as well. The gym and rooftop, and CUT Steakhouse are all pluses as well. I am already thinking about y next stay. Can't wait to be back!"
