My daughter (6yo) and I traveled to DC for an overnight and trip to the National Zoo. I chose the hotel because of the resort pool and because of its close proximity t[o]” the Zoo), named-staff Luna at front desk, and repeat-birthday-tradition stays (“This is the fourth year in a row I spent my birthday at the Omni shore hotel”). A candid 5-star flags dated rooms: “The room we had was spacious and has good beds. The interior of the room was well taken care off, but outdated.” Best for family-with-kids National-Zoo-adjacent stays, Select Guest Omni loyalists, resort-pool-oriented DC family weekends and Woodley-Park-Metro travelers accepting the dated-rooms tradeoff.

“Beautiful location, big american styl hotel with a huge lobby, very kind peolpe at the reception. The room we had, was spacious and has good beds. The interiour of the room was well taken care off, but outdated. With good parking facility, close to public transport and easy access to down town Washington. In the close surrounding, you will nice breakfast, lunch and dinner facillities as well as a supermarket and more (just a 2 minutes walk.) And don’t forget to jump into the pool and take a walk in the garden.” — Jan J., 5 stars
“We absolutely loved our experience at Omni Shoreham. My daughter (6yo) and I traveled to DC for an overnight and trip to the National Zoo. I chose the hotel because of the resort pool and because of its close proximity to the zoo. I cannot wait to go back . The pool is amazing; the attention to detail great. We were truly able to relax and enjoy. The food and drinks (pool bar, Robert’s, Morsels coffee) were all wonderful. Highly recommend!” — SeeTheWorldfrom215, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Omni Shoreham Hotel.
"This is a superb hotel. It has a beautifully appointed lobby and large welcoming area. This hotel is also family friendly, which is very appreciated, including setting aside dedicated space in the hotel for play for kids. Recently, our family has come to learn about this lovely hotel setting aside a large room a few times a week with bouncy houses and other fun things for kids. This is terrific, and we're so happy to know about this. We had time with Yvette at the hotel this evening (December 13) in the bouncy house room for kids, and she was lovely and attentive. We look forward to spending more time at this beautiful hotel and to sharing its activities with others."

View on Google"Not a central location close to all the DC sites, however it's within walking distance of a subway stop so navigating the city isn't bad. The rooms were very nice and the staff is wonderful. I was here for a conference and I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone staying on business or personal. The drinks in the lounge were good and there was musical entertainment a couple of evenings while we were there. Hotel has a great history of notable musicians playing and staying here. There's a beautiful walking/running/bike path behind the hotel."

So hospitable and she really took care of me and my sister. Even sent us something special for our bday and she didn’t have to do that. She upgraded our room. Just an amazing experience. The lounge is great. Great cocktails and the restaurant Robert’s sent us a bday dessert. The food was great. The hostess was so nice. I didn’t get her name but she is from Jamaica and was just so sweet. 5/5 experience. Highly recommend!!"
