What Guests Are Saying
“We recently had the pleasure of staying in the beautiful Chablis Suite at Garden & Sea Inn, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner Grace’s genuine warmth and hospitality - she made us feel completely at home. The Chablis Suite was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The king bed was wonderfully cozy, and the luxurious Jacuzzi tub was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring nearby Chincoteague and Assateague. Every detail of the room reflected thoughtful care and attention. The adults-only property itself is absolutely lovely, peaceful and inviting with a resort like atmosphere. The beautifully manicured grounds and the sparkling pool complete the relaxing retreat. We felt as if we had found a hidden oasis where we could truly reconnect at The Garden and Sea. Each morning we looked forward to a delicious homemade breakfast, beautifully prepared and the perfect start to the day. Our host was not only gracious and welcoming but also full of wonderful recommendations about the area, making our visit even more enjoyable. We’ve stayed in many boutique hotels over the years, and Garden & Sea Inn rivals the very best of them while offering what many luxury hotels can’t—genuine charm, personal hospitality, and a feeling that you’re staying somewhere truly special. This is the true B&B experience. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. We couldn’t recommend Garden & Sea Inn more highly!” — Renata D., 5 stars
“We stayed at the Garden and Sea Inn for the first time this weekend and are confident that it will be our go-to spot to stay anytime we are in the Virginia Eastern Shore area!!! The accommodations are charming and well-stocked with anything you could need. Our host Grace was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and of course, she cooks an amazing breakfast! The common areas feature many opportunities for enjoyment, including a pool table, books and board games, a record player, a swinging hammock, and porches stocked with rocking chairs. There’s also a pool open in the summer, which we will have to come back to enjoy since it wasn’t warm enough to open quite yet! An easy & scenic twenty-minute drive gets you to the Chincoteague/Assateague area, where we spent most of our time enjoying wildlife, beaches, and seafood. We would highly recommend booking a stay at the Garden and Sea Inn!!!” — Katie Z., 5 stars
“We had an excellent time at Garden and Sea Inn. My husband, my dog and I stayed at the Champagne room for the weekend as we wanted to explore Assateague and Chincoteague. The property is very nice, the room we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed (including dog bowls and a dog blanket). It was easy to find, self check in was very easy, and the common areas are very well taken care of. But what we enjoyed the most was the delicious breakfast that Grace prepared, and loved that it was dog-friendly! It was a great stay, and very easy drives to Assateague, Berlin, and Chincoteague” — Laura R., 5 stars
