“As we were traveling south on 81 in VA, I picked this hotel because of the reviews, price and location. So glad I did. Easy on/off access to 81, tastefully decorated, very clean, delicious breakfast and very helpful, friendly desk clerks. We had booked through Booking.com and the young man had a hard time finding our reservation as they had it under my maiden name. He never gave up and finally located the problem, with many apologies. Not his fault. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very roomy and convenient having a separate bedroom. Even the shower was great! Comfy bed and pillows also. “I stayed here for 3 nights while in Roanoke for my college reunion at Hollins University. I had a very enjoyable stay with zero complaints. My room was immaculately clean and I slept well. The pillows and mattress were much more comfortable than at other hotels I have been to. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. When I responded to the welcome text asking if I needed anything, someone actually responded right away! They also have a virtual checkout option where you can check out via text, which saves time. “We came here unexpectedly with a coupon from one of the local rest areas it was an exceptional deal at $89 plus tax - this hotel happens to be a Choice Brand Hotel from the Comfort Inn Chain seems to be formally a Radisson - its better than most. The beds are so comfortable the pillows are wonderful and there are lots of extra towels and was very clean. It was the best hotel of our trip compared to the Hampton Inn, Quality Inn & a few others we visited traveling from Texas to New Jersey for Thanksgiving week. The breakfast was great with multiple options of larger sizes of yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, muffins and a waffle station!! Highly recommended!!!!” — Caroline, 5 stars
