About The Hotel

From $212/night — a near-perfect village inn near Mount Snow. The Wilmington Inn earns a stellar 4.9 rating across all categories, including perfect 5.0 scores for cleanliness and location. Owner-hosts Charlie and Megan run a warm, intimate inn with whirlpool-and-fireplace rooms (like the Molly Stark suite), an on-site bar, and made-to-order breakfasts featuring fresh-baked cookies. Guests consistently praise the cozy, fireplace-warmed common areas and friendly service. Peak ski and foliage weeks command premium rates (worth it, guests say). A few rooms could use blackout curtains for deeper sleeping. It’s a small historic inn that books far ahead, especially winter weekends. A car is needed for Mount Snow and Lake Whitingham, but the village itself is entirely walkable. For couples and skiers wanting coziness, exceptional hospitality, and whirlpool-and-fireplace indulgence, this is the gold standard.

What Guests Are Saying

“Our stay at this bed and breakfast in Vermont was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the place felt so warm and inviting. The common area, complete with a cozy fireplace, was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our room was just as amazing—super comfortable, with a gas fireplace that kept the space toasty and cozy. The couple who owns the B&B were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. They were always available to offer helpful tips on things to do and places to eat. And speaking of food, the breakfast here was fantastic! Fresh, homemade, delicious and the perfect start to our day of adventures. The location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s just minutes away from Mount Snow for outdoor activities, and within walking distance to the charming town center with a great selection of shops and restaurants (which were delicious too). The town itself is steeped in history, adding to its charm. I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation!” — Kimberly D., 5 stars

“We decided to spend our 43rd anniversary in Wilmington and are so glad we chose the Wilmington Inn! The inn and innkeepers are quintessential Vermont - cozy, warm and friendly. We were greeted by Charlie and given a tour. We had a drink in the bar before heading out for dinner. We stayed in the Molly Stark suite and found it very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The gas fireplace was a plus as was the two person whirlpool tub! I highly recommend staying here and plan to visit again in the future.” — Laura S., 5 stars

“The Wilmington Inn is the best B&B that my wife and I have stayed. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The propeety has a bar and a very comfortable family room with a fireplace. The room was clean and very nice. Wilmington is a very friendly small town and the Wilmington Inn was a fantastic place to stay.” — Chuck R., 5 stars
