About The Hotel

From $118/night — excellent value with après-ski amenities. This Austrian-style inn (4.7 rating, 280 reviews) was fully renovated in 2022 and now feels crisp and updated. The draw is two outdoor hot tubs and a sauna (ideal for skiers), plus a heated pool, a full cooked breakfast, and a 4–6 pm après hour with Cabot cheddar and homemade cookies. Rooms are spacious and clean, many with direct outdoor access and some with gas fireplaces; staff are genuinely warm and remember repeat guests. It’s an older building without an elevator (stairs to the second floor) and bathrooms can run compact, but the value, the hot tubs, and the breakfast make it a favorite with skiers and families. Best for active travelers.

What Guests Are Saying

“The Innsbruck Inn is a quaint inn centrally located near downtown Stowe with easy access to the local dining scene. The building and room were very clean and you have direct access to your room from the parking lot. They have 2 hot tubs and a sauna to unwind in after a day of skiing, as well as a game room with table tennis. The complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast buffet and the food was great. The staff were the standout of the trip however. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. Innsbruck Inn will definitely be at the top of our list when we return to Stowe.” — Matt K., 5 stars

“This was our second stay at the Innsbruck Inn, and we were impressed during our first stay last year. So, when we got the chance to ski at Stowe this year, we booked the Innsbruck. We arrived after 14” of snow and the driveway and all the parking spaces were plowed and snow free. My wife and I were greeted at the front desk by Lisa who recognized us from previous stays at a different Stowe motel 2 years ago. This was a skiing trip, and we stayed in one of the Superior King Rooms with a fireplace. The Inn was completely renovated in 2022, and our room was more than spacious with a small gas fireplace and newly redone bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks. We used the mini-fridge for snacks and fruit while staying. The microwave came in handy when we heated up leftover pizza from the Picasso Restaurant down the road. I usually need help regaining leg strength after a day of skiing at the Stowe Resort that is only 1.5 miles up the Mountain Road (Rt 108). Each afternoon I used one of the two outdoor hot tubs to soften up aching legs and knees. They also have Saunas available that I had used on our previous trip. The Innsbruck includes a breakfast with fresh prepared blueberry pancakes/French toast/meats/potatoes & eggs as well as cold cereals and juices/coffee/tea in the Skimeister room down stairs. From 4 to 6 there is an Apres-Ski including complimentary cheese platter with Cabot Cheddar Cheeses produced in Vt, home baked cookies, and hot cider. It is a suitable place to meet new friends and talk about skiing and what to do tomorrow. Our requirements for hotel/motels are Cleanliness, bed condition, privacy, indoor hallways, working heating/colling systems and location. The Innsbruck Inn rates a five star for each of those. It does not have an elevator, but skiers should not need one to get to the second floor. We will be returning more than once this ski season.” — Departure43089159964, 5 stars

“My brother and I stayed for one night while en route to Burlington from Florida (Burlington hotels were super pricey and we needed just a one-night stay.) We chose this hotel because it looked nice and was affordable. Loved it! It’s an older place, but very clean with nice amenties. We liked that the rooms opened to the outdoors, as well as the interior, and the grounds are gorgeous. They include a sweeping lawn and beautiful mountain stream. The nearby rec trail made for a nice walk, and they provide bicycles for free. The complimentary breakfast included hot eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes, along with cereal, etc. This is an older place with window AC units, and not all the windows open. However, rooms have coffeepots (and coffee) and refrigerators, and wonderful warm robes. We would definitely go back.” — Penny C., 5 stars

"Front desk staff was great, location is great, rooms are very good for the price. We made use of the hot tubs which needed to be braved across the parking lot to access but was fully worth it. There's a chimnea between the hot tubs which was great to converse around while having a cigar. Breakfast was greatly appreciated in the morning. Not a huge variety, but should be something for everyone. Only issue is 1st floor guests will bare the noise from the 2nd floor footsteps as it is an older building. There's a ton of charm here, and great value for everything you get."

"Myself, sister and our children stayed here from Dec 23-27 and we were very happy with our stay. Everyone was very nice and helpful, the rooms were basic, but nice and cozy. We loved that they had a back porch area where we watched the snow fall. They provided breakfast and what they call an afternoon delight. The chef was accommodating for my toddler who likes to eat fruit in the morning for breakfast. The area was nice and quaint. All in all we would stay here again."
