What Guests Are Saying

“Stayed for a little over 10 days. Stayed on 3rd floor facing front of hotel. It’s across the street from Hannaford (supermarket), TJMaxx, McDonald’s, and a few other spots. Room was clean. Not old, not modern, but clean. Fridge and microwave in room. We had a king bed and a pull out sofa. They made the pullout bed for us in advance of us checking in at our request. Breakfast and dinner is sold at the restaurant on the main floor of hotel. Breakfast has limited menu but was good. We ate French toast, eggs, bacon. And potatoes. All very tasty. Starbbucks coffee available. Dinner menu is limited but tasty. We had salad, burger, grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and buffalo wings. Buffalo wings were especially tasty. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Town of Middlebury is quiet and clean. Exercise room has two treadmills, one elliptical, dumbells, and a bench. Contrary to other reviews that may be outdated, there is no pool on site, nor is one under construction. There is an elevator in the hotel. There is on site free parking.” — abby, 4 stars

“Staff was friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean & updated. Extremely hospitable w Apple cider, cookies, and even snack bags w water in the room. Would definitely make this the place we stay when visiting Middlebury zzzzzzzzzxxxzzzzzzzzzzz” — kk, 5 stars

“What a great hotel. Nice quiet, easy access location. We were 4 couples that were in the area for a quiet weekend and that’s exactly what we got. Hotel is clean and very well maintained. Staff is above and behind. Always smiling and asking how’s everything is. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will return soon.” — kumarp7, 5 stars

"Close to the center of town. Rooms are comfy and prices are good. No free breakfast or coffee which was a bit of a bummer. The woman serving breakfast was incredibly grumpy and unfriendly. In her defense there was a large contingent of college kids all getting food at about the same time as there appeared to be a tennis tournament at Middlebury. But, I would have thought that this kind of a rush was common and known since I assume there were a large number of group bookings. And after all the kids left she was still snarling and unfriendly. The person at check-in was great so l guess that balances out."

"Just wanted to write this to shoutout one of the front desk concierge Peggy!! She was so helpful! My friends and I were unable to continue our drive through Vermont really late at night due to snowy road conditions and Peggy helped us out so much. We were about 30 minutes away from the hotel and she told us the safest roads to travel through and nearest gas stations that were open as well as provided us with recommendations for breakfast and coffee for the next morning. She was the best!!"

"Exactly as I would expect for the price point. The rooms were dated but clean. The beds were comfortable and everything worked as it should. Pool was closed and they don't offer a continental breakfast (does have a restaurant on site) but overall satisfied and would return."
