About The Hotel

From $85/night — the area’s cheapest rate, with a great location and a catch. A budget 4.6 motor-resort with a golf course, pools, and jacuzzi-suite bungalows on 27 acres. The location on Main Street and the spacious king suites with kitchenettes are strong draws, but uneven upkeep, partial renovations, and reported winter heating and hot-water issues are real. Request a renovated jacuzzi bungalow specifically and confirm what’s working before arrival. The grounds are lovely—a par-3 golf course, lake, pools, and lawn games—and breakfast includes hot options. Friendly front-desk staff repeatedly earn praise. Value travelers who book wisely can enjoy spacious, comfortable bungalows and resort amenities at the lowest price point in Manchester.

What Guests Are Saying

“I was concerned about the stay at this hotel due to previous reviews. We stayed in one of the king suite rooms with a jacuzzi, which are like little bungalows. It was extremely spacious with a lounge, little kitchenette, massive bathroom and a lovely deck area facing a small lake. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. Breakfast offered was adequate with bread, muffins, fruit, yogurt and hot eggs and sausage patties. The receptionist was very nice and chatty. The grounds were lovely and you could borrow fishing rods, golf clubs and tennis racquet.” — Victoria Q., 5 stars

“Quick 1 night getaway it was everything we needed and more. We graciously got upgraded upon arrival, Michael helped make dinner reservations. The bed was super comfy, room was spacious and clean. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back!” — Casandra R., 5 stars

“Stayed here for one night during visit to New England. On entry to the property, found it difficult to find the office/reception to check in. It is one of the buildings towards the back of the property. We stayed in a standard room which was very spacious. The bathroom had a walk in shower. Room also had a mini fridge and in room coffee maker. The breakfast the following morning had selection of juice, coffee/tea, eggs, breakfast meat, toast/bagels, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Nice play to stay in Manchester but a bit pricey.” — Adrian B., 4 stars

"Lovely inn in a cute town. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. We stayed in winter so we didn't use any of the amenities but the rooms was excellent! Our room was spacious, clean, and a little dated but not in an unappealing way. The bed was very comfortable. Absolutely recommend for a vacation stay!"

"The Palmer House – A Cozy Vermont Gem Our stay at The Palmer House was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Robert at the front desk deserves a special mention — he was so friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. We came during the fall season, and while the crisp Vermont air was beautiful, it was a little too chilly to enjoy all their outdoor amenities. I’m especially bummed I forgot to pack a bathing suit — their indoor heated pool was calling my name! All in all, a lovely stay in a charming place. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, especially for that warm New England hospitality. 🍂🏡"

"After reading the mixed reviews I wanted to take the time for a thorough review. I was staying off season on a dreary Saturday evening by myself. I can't speak to all the rooms but the suite (78) was excellent. There are motel style rooms and then the sort of condo style rooms (which I had). The grounds are expansive and house a variety of activities including tennis and a pool. The motel style building is older and dated (from the outside) but the condo style building looks fairly modern. My room was huge and very well appointed (see pictures for details). My suite would be ideal for a couple or small family. The indoor pool and hot tub is only accessible by walking outside but once in the enclosed area the pool and very clean as was the above ground hot tub. On the whole I felt like this was the best value I found in the Manchester area."
