What Guests Are Saying

“From the moment we walked in the door, we were met with a friendly and welcoming smile by owner/host Gaby. The rooms were great- spacious, with rustic charm. We stayed in the “barn”, which had beautiful suites with electric corner stoves which added to the great ambiance. Gaby and staff member John were gracious and great bartenders at their cozy fireplace lit bar area in the main house- they made a great old fashioned! All in all a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you to Gaby, Gretchen and John for their great hospitality! Jeff and Marlo H.” — Jeffrey H., 5 stars

“We hadn’t been to Vermont in a long time but the Inn at Manchester didn’t disappoint us! It was like coming home for the holidays! Our room, the Wintergreen, was beautifully appointed with really comfortable beds, large bathroom and room to stretch out! Breakfast was great too. Having said all that the icing on the cake is the wonderful staff! John the manager made us feel welcomed and mad our 29 year anniversary special. Brian and Gaby have really put a great deal of love into the Inn and it shows! Do yourself a favor and make the Inn at Manchester your destination in the future.” — Karen I., 5 stars

“We spent one night at the Inn in Manchester VT. The room we had, the Green Briar, was located in the Carriage House, right next to the Inn. Being apart from the Inn was not a problem at all. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. The location was a very short ride into town, again no issues. The home cooked breakfast was delicious. Price point was very reasonable. My only regret was that we had just one night to spend there. Would like to go back for a longer visit, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the pool while looking at the mountains and a drink at the pub inside the inn. Would highly recommend.” — capecodtraveler01, 5 stars

"The Inn at Manchester is more than just a place to stay – it’s a place that becomes part of your story. We’ve been coming here a year after a year to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, and every single day feels just as special as the first. From cozy nights by the warm crackling fire, to early mornings enjoying an incredible breakfast before hitting the slopes. this place has become our go-to escape. We love spending our day snowboarding and then coming back to such a welcoming, comfortable place. One of our favorite parts about staying here is the atmosphere – the chance to meet other couples, share stories, and feel like a part of this little community. That personal, intimate feeling is something that you just can’t find it a typical hotel. Which truly sets the Inn at Manchester apart though, are the owners. They genuinely care about their guests, and go out of their way to create a warm, hospitable and personal experience. You don’t feel like a reservation number – do you feel like a valued guest, even like family. That kindness meant even more to us recently when a major snowstorm forced us to cancel our trip the day before we were supposed to leave. They could’ve easily kept our money, but instead, they were incredibly understanding and accommodating, happily helping us reschedule for later in the season. That level of integrity and compassion says everything about the kind of people they are. We recommend the Inn at Manchester to everyone we know. If you were looking for the perfect weekend getaway – romantic, cozy, we welcoming, and unforgettable, this is it. We can’t wait to return yet again!"

"This place is a gem. If you are looking for a nice night or weekend away this is the place to go! Quiet, clean and absolutely charming. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast was delicious and Brian was very accommodating. Sitting by the fireplace with a book and a drink from their small bar was the relaxing end to a perfect fall roadtrip! Shops are nearby and plenty of restaurants but honestly you won't want to leave the inn!!"

"What a lovely place to stay in a beautiful area in Vermont! From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the innkeepers were extremely attentive and friendly. They had suggestions on what to do in the area and happily provided history of the house and other friendly conversation. The rooms were super clean and the breakfasts were delicious. We attended a wedding on site as well, and it was so much fun! I can’t wait to visit again!"
