“After missing my flight, having to buy a ticket for a new flight on a different airline and finally arriving in Burlington an hour later than my friend we had to drive through a rain storm and finally arrived at the Starlight Inn. It was a welcome piece of heaven! Each room has a theme and ours was the Bonnie and Clyde room. It had a poster from the movie along with other pictures hanging on the wall from the movie. The room did not have a funky smell, and it was absolutely spotless! Plenty of hot water and clean absorbent towels. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us and our double beds were both comfortable. I would say mine was a little too soft but I prefer a firmer mattress so that is not a complaint. What’s also cool is the two screen drive-in movie theater located right next-door. You could actually sit in front of your room or at the gazebo that’s located out front and watch the movie! I would recommend this motel to anyone visiting the Burlington area. It’s definitely a nice place to stay for the money. “Cute, well kept vintage motor inn with clean, up-to-date rooms. Each room is themed to a movie star with photos & pictures. Our experience was similar to an Airbnb with a contactless check in and check out. Housekeeping is available on request. Rooms are large and include a fridge, microwave, coffee maker & supplies, bottled water & plenty of fluffy towels. A large counter with extra sink is just outside the bathroom which was a nice feature. The best amenity was complimentary admission to the drive in movie theater next door. First run double features and four screens to choose from. “While it was built in the days of small motels, this is an immaculately kept building, with vinyl siding, updated windows, updated paint, updated carpeting, and a SPOTLESS bathroom. We had an ADA room (Bogie and Bacall), and were very impressed. It was a great place to stay before an early-morning check-in at the hospital.
