“We spent three nights here, and had a good experience overall. The first room we were put in had the machinery for the heating system located right besides the bedhead - which was quite noisy. They put us into another room for the remaining two nights, where the system was located in the opposite end of the room, and we slept well. The room was very spacious, and comfortable, and had a nice view over the park and lake beyond. The reception area was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. “We booked a “lake view” room with a whirlpool, expecting the beautiful, open view shown in the hotel’s website. Unfortunately, our view of the lake was mostly blocked by trees, which made it more of a partial or obscured lake view. The photo online gave a very different impression, so that was disappointing. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and spotless, the staff was welcoming and gracious, and the location was excellent.
