About The Hotel

Days Inn by Wyndham Morristown on E Andrew Johnson Highway is a 2.6-rated (243 reviews) budget Days Inn in Morristown, with a pool and the lowest rate in town. The very low 2.6 rating reflects serious and consistent complaints about cleanliness, condition, and maintenance — we list it for completeness, but strongly recommend the well-rated Hampton Inns nearby unless budget is your absolute only consideration. Confirm any room details directly with the property before booking. Best only for travelers on the tightest budget who read recent reviews carefully first.

What Guests Are Saying

“The most horrible stay ever. 1. Walked in to room. Smoke detector on table near TV. 2. No TP, towels, soap, or shampoo. Had to go back to front desk to retrieve. 3. Hotel was not busy but she put us in a room adjacent to a person who had a work truck parked parallel to our door. The driver was ominously in truck watching us. He stayed in his truck until 3am blasting music/videos in Spanish and occasionally starting the car and revving the gas to get heat going. Most inconsiderate person. Turns out he was in room next to us. 4. Killed a roach behind the TV when we walked in. 5. Microwave, refrigerator, TV and Phone not working. Microwave and Fridge not even plugged in. 6. No Toilet paper roll holder. And empty roll sitting on bathroom floor. 7. The sheets had stains on them. 8. We were so grossed out but it was late and we were leaving early. But we didn’t even want to leave anything on the floor and couldn’t wait for night to end. 9. Garbage truck came and picked up the dumpsters at 6am. 10. The room in the other side of us set off their car alarm twice at 5:30 am. 11. We didn’t shower in that disgusting room. 12. The photos on the Wyndham app for that hotel was so false advertising. Not even close to the room we stayed in. 13. The door lock was exposed to someone able to access room with a physical key. The only room I saw the is missing the lock cover. So I was suspicious about that. 14. Breakfast was a joke. 15. No garbage cans.. 16. Empty plastics store bags in one drawer and debris in another drawer. If I had time I would’ve gone somewhere else but we arrived after 9p and didn’t want to deal with that hassle.” — hawa1326, 1 star

“If I could give this property a rating of 0, I would. Room was disgusting. Dirty floor, food in the refrigerator, fecal matter on the toilet seat, dirty sink, burned and ripped bed linens. The curtains were hanging off the curtain rod. There were burn marks on the furniture and a burn mark and match on the bathroom wall. We called the front desk and the woman on duty came to the room with cleaning supplies and new sheets and bedspread. She took pictures of the room and told us how many people have received refunds due to the poor housekeeping. We then had to clean our room and make our bed with supplies she brought as there were no other rooms available. Had it not been after midnight we would have tried to find another hotel. When we checked out we were told we would receive a refund. So far, no refund. The “Wyndham Response Service Team” reached out to me and when I told them my issues, I was told there is nothing they could do. I tried to email Wyndham’s CEO (at Geoff.ballotti@wyndham.com) and have received no response. I am finding this situation to be very disheartening. Travelocity requested feedback on this hotel and I can honestly say I cannot recommend this location. I have never been so disgusted with a hotel property in my life.” — Karen T., 1 star

“I’d give it a zero if I could. Disgusting. I missed all the bad reviews somehow. Hotel doesn’t look like the pictures. Creepy people in parking lot. We were given a non-smoking room but as soon as I opened the door I was hit with smoke. Went to front desk and she claimed maintenance must have smoked in there. Got a new room and I didn’t want to put my stuff down. Bathroom was clean is about the only nice thing I could say. Couch was nasty, refrigerator missing, closet door falling off, drawer front falling off. I checked the sheets and there was black hair and footprints!!! As soon as I went back to the front desk the lady said “I suppose you want to cancel.” She made some excuse about housekeeping, but at least she gave us a refund with no hassle.” — Christina M., 1 star

"We ended up switching rooms as you can see in the pics the first room the TV didn't work and there was about a 2 inch gap around the door letting all the cold air in they offered towels so we could block the wind out but didn't have a remote to the TV... The second room was good no issues at all with it"
