What Guests Are Saying
“We needed a getaway so decided Chattanooga was it. We looked at a few options and chose Courtyard by Marriot because of its location. We wanted to be able to walk to most places, so it was perfect. Across the street from the Aquarium and The Medal of Honor Museum and Hennen’s Restaurant. A short walk to several other restaurants and events/activities! The staff of Courtyard was absolutely amazing. Front desk Lauren, Fawn and Vee (VRL) were so friendly and helpful. Recommend excellent eating establishments close by that we hadn’t read about. The bar help was excellent, were friendly and made excellent cocktails. The Bistro/breakfast cake (with Starbucks) was also very helpful and friendly! We plan to go back soon.” — CarolynM38134, 5 stars
“I booked this at the last minute and was so pleasantly surprised. It is next door to the Aquarium and a block from the riverwalk. Many cafes and restaurants within blocks. The room was outstanding with everything you need, including comfortable bed, great bathroom and good wifi. I had a balcony and I was very happy about that. The HVAC is the old style with venting to the outside so that was the only downside, but it was quiet. The service was great too. The parking is next door in a garage, and it cost extra, but not too much and for a downtown it was just fine. I would highly recommend this if you want to be in the heart of downtown for good value.” — Travel_Buff_BL, 5 stars
“We’ve stayed here before and don’t think you can beat this hotel for a downtown visit. Right across from the aquarium and a short walk to dozens of great restaurants. This trip we hit Puckett’s for breakfast, Mellow Mushroom for lunch, and Hennen’s at supper. All great and within a block of the Courtyard. Nice clean hotel and the only downside is the parking is removed from the property but easy to get to.” — georgiadog5, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Courtyard Chattanooga Downtown.
"While we were there, they were renovating some areas of the hotel but those areas were easy to avoid if you wanted to. Otherwise, we stayed in a newly renovated room which was very nice with higher-end appointments. It was quite quiet given the construction going on at the time. The staff was helpful, resourceful and kind. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years and we will not hesitate to stay again next time."

View on Google"Had a great stay as always (second time at this location). Clean room, facilities, grounds. However, I have to mention all of the friendly and courteous staff both in the lobby, housekeeping, at the breakfast area and behind the bar, none of which I caught their names, but all of which were truly the epitome of excellence in the hospitality industry. Of all of the wonderful staff during our stay (12/19-12/21) I must give a shout out to Autumn at front desk on the evening shifts of our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay special for my child’s birthday. Thank you again to all of the staff at Courtyard Chattanooga, for all you do."

View on Google"I really enjoyed staying at this location in Chattanooga. There is plenty to do around the hotel including a burger restaurant you could just walk to. They also had a pizza place that looked very interesting even though I did not get to go. That you could also walk too easily. I loved all the brick buildings and the pretty lights. I only stayed one night but if I could, I would’ve stayed a few more and explored downtown Chattanooga. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very nice as well."
