“I was in Memphis overnight to pick up a horse the following morning. I could not find a room in six area hotels and finally found a room here. After booking I read very poor reviews and was concerned. On arrival I asked to inspect the room prior to check in. I was immediately taken to my room. It was spotless and very clean. “The Good - it was quiet at night. Shampoo and conditioner worked well with my hair. Room was clean. Checkin was quick. Price was decent for level of amenities. No carpet which was a nice surprise. It’s more sanitary. The Bad - was asked 3 times if I was checking out (before 11). They want to clean more than to leave you alone to get your full stay’s worth without being bugged. Breakfast was ok. No oatmeal bar. Pork Sausage was fried. Ran out of biscuits to have with gravy. When they clean rooms starting before 9am, they are loud. * No frills. Nice toiletries. Hard bed but slept fine. Room was clean. No bugs. Shower worked fine. Checkin person was friendly and professional. Thin bedspread. Brought my own blanket. Nice desk with desk chair and lamp. "I am really grateful that there is a nice economical hotel that’s clean, safe and quaint in all the right ways. I checked in yesterday and was just so pleased with the room, the staff, and the amenities. Just perfectly situated, quiet and a great value if you’re not looking at throwing a lot of money away. I have stayed at the Memphis Hilton and Germantown Hilton in the last couple months but will no longer look any further than Plantation Oaks. Thanks for a great experience!"

View on Google"Rooms are dated, not trashy! just older. Negative is you hear every step anyone upstairs takes. Positive is that it's the cleanest room I've stayed in. It was spotless and dustless. Nothing in the corners or around the toilet or tub."
