What Guests Are Saying

“I stayed at this hotel with my daughter while visiting UT from NH. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with kindness and warmth. Once Chris at the front desk found out we were there to tour UT, he went above and beyond to share about the area and the school. The next morning we were greeting by another amazing employee, Ebony. I loved talking to her about Knoxville, UT and restaurants in the area. I work in HR and these employees are 10 stars out of 5. They made me feel like a special guest even though I’m sure hundreds of guests walk through the doors. Once my daughter was accepted into UT, I went right online to book my stay!! I can’t wait to see Chris and Ebony again. The breakfast choices were great and the whole facility is so clean (rooms, foyer, etc). You can tell that all of the employees take pride in the hotel and make sure that every guest has a great experience.” — Allison A., 5 stars

“We have been staying at the Hampton Downtown during our visits to Knoxville for several years now. This hotel is within walking distance of a lot of the attractions one would want to visit such as the World’s Fair Park, Volunteer Landing, Neyland Stadium, and Thompson-Boling Arena. The rooms and common areas are always clean and the complimentary breakfast is always good. Chris, Jacob, and all the staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. They make your stay as comfortable as possible. The only downside to staying here is the noise of the traffic on Henley Street at night (for some reason it seems to get louder at night) but there are sound machines provided to create some white noise. All in all, it’s a great place to stay and our go to when we visit Knoxville.” — Hank C., 5 stars

“I had no problems at all. I’m fact, one stand out moment that I had was because of Darshawna. She was attending the breakfast area that morning and she was very helpful with everything that I needed. She help to make my experience there at that hotel an enjoyable one.” — Rodrick S., 5 stars

"I stayed there for 3 nights, 4 days, the room are very nice, clean and so we'll designed and finished that can compete with some Resorts that I have visited. I had to stay from Thu to Sun, but in order to use a discount only from Fri to Sun, I had to reserve Thu separately; however they kept us in the same room and everything was smoothly and easy. Check-in through the app, digital key to open using the app, really more that I expected."

"Great location for downtown Knoxville. It's unfortunate they charge you $20 to park on site.. There are parking garages/lots close by that are cheaper if that matters to you. The staff are super friendly, and request a room on the quieter side of the property if one is available. Would stay here again."

"Good location, great staff. Rooms by the road are very noisy and church bell across the street starts ringing at 8:00 (not ideal for late sleepers). They provide earplugs in the room, which was welcomed. Would stay again, but parking lot side."
