“Just recently stayed here, and everything was as anticipated. All services provided were very good. Check in/out very easy. Fresh towels everyday as well as the bed being made. The room was perfect. Breakfast was more than adequate to get the day started. They even provided a bag lunch if requested. We had an issue with the reservation and pricing, but the Manager Michael took care of the situation and honored the rates we were quoted and signed up for. “My stay was just ok. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were atrocious. The Roman shade didn’t work, and it’s really dark in the room. The lights do not give off enough light. The shower was not equipped with any kind of shelf to put your things on. Nothing to hold onto either. I’m not handicapped but I do have balance issues. There is no full length mirror to check your outfit What happened to a tablet and pen? They used to supply you with a list of restaurants in the area, attractions, hotel amenities, check out times, etc. now nothing. Very disappointed.” — Kathy J., 3 stars

"We recently stayed here at Hampton Inn in Johnson City, TN to visit family over the Thanksgiving break. We traveled all day from Florida with 3 little kids. We were very impressed by the General Manager, Michael Samuels and his excellent customer service. He is present, attentive, friendly, engaging and you can tell the staff and customers genuinely feel his leadership presence. True definition of leading by example. He was out every morning rounding in the dining room and speaking with his customers to ensure our satisfaction. Our kids even looked forward to seeing him every day. We need more leaders like Michael and wanted to make sure to ask for his card to have the opportunity to thank him. His kindness did not go unnoticed and we are most appreciative!"

View on Google"Our room was visibly quite clean, but had a slight pet odor. The breakfast area was clean, but I imagine the furniture and rug are on a list to be replaced soon as they've become shabby. The breakfast was good, and the hotel employees friendly. It was a little pricey considering the age of the furnishings in the guest room and in the common areas, but there was a large festival nearby that drove up the price."
