What Guests Are Saying

“It was wonderful coming to a very special and amazing inn and resort on Douglas Lake. We have stayed here before in the cabin and this stay was in the Honeymoon/Anniversary Suite. Billy, the owner, has an exceptional property nestled in the Smoky Mountains. His love for people is evidenced everywhere you look. The staff are phenomenal! They are all highly professional and extremely friendly, offering to help in any way they can. When arriving, be prepared to be treated to a pizza on your first night. Every evening, you get phenomenal (and large serving) desserts in the luxurious dining area by candlelight. Every morning, you’re treated to a wonderful breakfast buffet to start your day. The resort offers a free sunset cruise on the lake also. Another advantage to this property is that it’s not far from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, but it’s far enough away to not be part of the hustle and bustle of those crowds when you want to relax. I can’t recommend this inn enough. When in the area, we will always return to this luxurious vintage piece of Heaven in the Smoky Mountains.” — Dream45885193449, 5 stars

“minutes ago on Google Unbelievable views of the Great Smoky Mountains and Douglas Lake in beautiful Dandridge, TN. Mountain Harbor Inn is an incredible place for a couple to spend a night, few days, or even a week. The hotel staff from the front desk to dessert to breakfast to check in / check out is awesome. Jerry the boat captain is local and I’ve known him for years and he done an excellent job with our group on the water. Free pizza (up to 10 toppings) will be eating for you on one night ($10 if you want more), an absolutely amazing 5 star dessert the size of your face, a breakfast buffet, and Douglas Lake one hour cruise is included with your stay. We are local and stay here for the views, cruise, breakfast, and the desserts! They have three floors to choose from. Each have their advantages and disadvantages, but all are outstanding and equal. No elevators so you would need a 2nd floor ( ground floor room). Awesome stay! Check them out!” — GWAWZW, 5 stars

“Mountain Harbor Inn was wonderful! The most friendly and accommodating staff! The view was absolutely breathtaking! The owner personally greeted us in the dining room at breakfast and was so nice! They serve the best homemade excellent breakfast around in the dining room with amazing views! They offer free dessert nightly to guests and it was the best dessert we have ever had. In addition to our stay, we were also served a complementary pizza! They also offer a free boat ride to guests and it was so beautiful! The Captain was also friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend staying at Mountain Harbor Inn!” — Amy T., 5 stars

"A real nice 5 day 4 night trip, pet friendly resort. We arrived and got checked in & Erica showed us to our room. Then asked if we wanted pizza before the pontoon ride or after we got back. So a ride on the lake, pizza & dessert every day of your stay if you like. Breakfast in the morning with the owner Billy was very nice, always telling everyone he was honored to have us there. We took a pontoon ride 3 nights, all 3 were a different route on Douglas Lake. The whole staff was very friendly & helpful, we will definitely be back."

"My husband and I were traveling and found this gem on Lake Douglas. We immediately felt like family. All the staff were so nice and the whole experience was amazing. We ended up staying twice in one week we enjoyed it so much. From the lake tour to the candle lit desserts, it was perfect. We can't wait to return soon."

"Spent our anniversary here on August 22 and 23rd. Fantastic views, staff is so friendly and will bend over backwards for you, and the rooms are gorgeous. We’ll definitely go back again. The only downside is backing out of your parking space kind of goes into the road so you got to be careful"
