About The Hotel

The Creekwalk Inn at Whisperwood Farm on Middle Creek Road is a 4.2-rated (204 reviews) country bed-and-breakfast and cabin retreat on a wooded creekside property in the Cosby foothills, built for couples and quiet-seekers. The secluded log cabins are the heart of the stay — each with its own private hot tub on the deck, a fireplace, and Smoky Mountain views. Guests rave about the peaceful setting, the sauna, the made-to-order breakfast delivered to your door, and the chance to ride horses through the meadows. It is a rustic, remote retreat rather than a polished resort, but for couples who want genuine in-cabin solitude and a private soak under the trees, far from the Gatlinburg crowds, it is the ultimate romantic escape. Book well ahead for foliage season and weekends.

What Guests Are Saying

“Kentucky resident, first time to this part of Tennessee. It’s now my favorite part of the country. Incredibly well-built cabin with everything I need - I’m a professional chef so I’ve been doing a lot of cooking since coming here, and it has been very easy. Hot tub is awesome as is the central air. Wraparound porch overlooking the holler is extremely nice as is the porch swing. It was easy to block off the exit to the porch with a chair so I could hang out with my pups unleashed. The advice in the listing is accurate - bring a vehicle that is ready to be thrashed, and pay attention to the weather before you book and arrive, especially if you’re not familiar with the steep grades and narrowness involved with mountain roads. It was beautiful and dry when I was here, but in a high-sitting 2WD truck, I’m not sure what getting in or out of here would’ve been like if the surrounding area had been soaked. Also, read the emails about navigation closely - this is not a place to just plug in on the GPS! That makes it all the better. I’d also suggesting arriving right at 4 PM for check-in. Doing this drive at night would’ve been a challenge. I fully expect to book with these folks again in the future!” — knowwhatyouowe, 5 stars

“We came in to an adorable cabin Christmas night. When we arrived there was a freeze and the pipes had burst. Christmas night at 8pm they sent maintenance to the top of the mountain to help us. That night we had a great time by the fire place and in hotub. Two days later the mountain was frozen and unsafe to drive down, we are from Florida and didn’t know better. We made it to the bottom and we’re to scared to go back up. They treated us like we were family taking customer service to a complete next level!!!! They brought our stuff down the mountain and put us in a different cabin. ( please note these were extreme hazard conditions) There are not enough good things I can say about the staff especially Leroy and his wife.” — ChristmasCouple2022, 5 stars

“Just what I was looking for, quaint little spot off the beatn’ path. Breakfast was delivered to our door and was very very good. Had our own coffee maker. Afterwards a very short trip to our own private hot tub in the woods. I will recommend this back to my friends a family for sure.” — w9nwg6q48s, 5 stars

"This place is an amazing find! Quiet quant little cabins. Currently sitting next to the fire enjoying the beautiful nature setting. Fantastic home made breakfast delivered to your door. This place has the details down to a science. Fresh coffee ready to brew sugar and cream in the room. Has a few different types of tea available as well. Very clean room and the grounds are well kept. Will be checking out the nice clean hot tub later tonight! Oh yea and the bathroom... my husband is 6'5 and had no problems laying all the way stretched out in that tub area! If you're still reading this go ahead and book it!"

"We did a last minute, 1 night trip and we were treated with such kindness! The riverfront cabin was cozy, quiet and serene! Had everything we needed to enjoy some alone time! Hot tub was amazing and already warm when we got in! Breakfast was brought to our door hot and ready to eat. Let me note that it was FANTASTIC!! Coffee and tea were in our room which was a sweet touch. Our first time here, but definitely not our last!!"
