What Guests Are Saying

“A nice stay this past weekend — we wanted some local down time and were happy to explore a different part of the state. Tim was very helpful at check-in, the room was clean with a nice river view, and there are chairs and tables to relax on the decks outside your room.” — sheilamk87, 5 stars

“A quaint New England B&B. The room was comfy and the air conditioning was very welcome during an extremely hot summer. The location is perfect, right down the road from the I-95 exit. I’d recommend this inn 100%.” — Lynda R, 5 stars

“Lots of history — the pictures and paintings, the room and the entire inn were very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was great, and the personal touches (a birthday card and wine glasses) were perfect. A great getaway; we’ll be back.” — John E C, 5 stars

"Stayed for 3 nights. The room was very clean, the view of the river from the back porch was beautiful and peaceful. We were late checking in the first night (stuck in the 95 north traffic) but called ahead and the front desk clerk stayed an hour late to make sure we got checked in and all set with the room. All in all a wonderful experience."

"This was a bit remote from the beaches, but drives weren’t super long. The room was bright and comfortable and bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again. The setting by the river was beautiful. The drawback a surprise additional charge for my don. We searched looking for accommodation for 3 but the price was higher when we arrived. The surprise was that we were up front about being a party of 3."
