About The Hotel

The Homewood Suites by Hilton Providence-Warwick is a 4.2-rated, 717-review all-suite property on International Way, near the airport connector and Warwick Mall. At $286–$297/night, it’s the premium option and best suited for families and extended stays. Every room includes a full kitchen, separate living area, and pull-out sofa—ideal for families or those who want to self-cater. The on-site hot tub (a shared pool feature, not in-room) and free hot breakfast are standout amenities, as is the kids-stay-free policy and laundry facilities. Service ratings are highest at 4.4, though recent reviews highlight aging carpets, outdated furnishings, and occasional room-condition issues. Still, for travelers seeking space, kitchen access, and Hilton-brand reliability for a multi-night stay, the Homewood delivers. Best for families, longer stays, and those willing to pay premium rates for suite comfort and conveniences.

What Guests Are Saying

“Staff is friendly. That is the only plus A lot of family’s are this hotel. i was told that insurance companies place families there for home damage etc. I dont believe what I was told. If you are on business stay some where else. Someone cooked fish in room, Entire floor smelled disgusting. Hotel needs to be refreshed.” — Bob H., 2 stars

“This place is a dump!! Carpets are filthy, tv doesn’t even turn toward the bed. If it weren’t so late in the evening, I’d leave! Ceiling fan looks like on my grandmothers had. The hotel is very outdated and just gross! Save your money! Definitely will not be eating the free breakfast in the morning!” — Meander426731, 1 star

“Disappointing Stay – Not Up to Hilton Standards We recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Warwick, RI for a family trip to attend my niece’s wedding. As a long-time Hilton customer with many positive past experiences, I was expecting the usual high standard. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing. Our flight was delayed, and we didn’t arrive until nearly 1:00 AM. I had called ahead to confirm our reservation would be honored, and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. However, the room we were given (Room 100) was in unacceptable condition: it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and something else unpleasant, a broken bedroom door that wouldn’t close, and a loose electrical outlet. When we asked to switch rooms the next morning, we were told nothing was available and were only offered to have the room sprayed—which did nothing to help. It wasn’t until the second morning, after complaining again, that we were moved to Room 101. While this room was much better, one of the toilets was clogged upon arrival. Most frustrating was the lack of any acknowledgment or apology from staff. Even after housekeeping confirmed the original room should not have been rented, no one expressed any concern or offered any form of compensation or sincere customer service. This was by far the worst Hilton stay I’ve ever experienced, and it has caused us to seriously reconsider staying with the brand in the future.” — Norman M., 1 star

"My family and I rented a room here for the weekend and what a great stay it was. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi very much! The hotel itself is well kept and the staff did an amazing job at assisting us. I’d also like to give a special shout out to Mariah who works the front desk, she’s very attentive, helpful, and was there for whatever we needed! I’ll definitely be returning and hope she is there when we do! Great hotel and job well done Homewood staff."

"It was good for what we needed. Close to Providence and Newport. The area itself is very meh, but driving is pretty easy. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a decent kitchen and living room. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The breakfast seemed to be good (I didn't frequent it, but my family was impressed). Would stay again!"

"We spent 7 months at Homewood Suites due to a major plumbing disaster at home, and they truly became our home away from home. The staff treated us like family—always warm, attentive, and kind. Our suite was comfortable and well-maintained, and having a kitchen made the long stay much easier. Even though we didn’t have an oven it was so nice to use the grills outside! From daily breakfasts to thoughtful service, everything exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality during a tough time. We will forever be missing Maria, Ashley, Erica, Ryan and the whole crew. My daughter talks about this hotel to all her friends and is planning a night stay sooner than later!! Thank you for all your hard work!"
