What Guests Are Saying
“I had a wonderful stay at the Omni Providence Hotel and would happily return. The hotel has a classic, elegant feel, with a beautiful lobby and a great atmosphere that makes a strong first impression as soon as you walk in. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and it was also quiet despite the central location.” — Bruno R., 5 stars
“Skip this hotel! They don’t care about providing the appropriate level of service (including my simple request for a toothbrush!) for an Omni hotel. Save your money and book a room elsewhere!” — Jaska, 2 stars
“I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at the Omni Providence, which was particularly disappointing given that this is supposed to be one of the best hotels in the city. The problems started immediately with the valet service. On one occasion, I was running late and the valet was nowhere to be found. After waiting, I had to ask the front desk receptionist to call him so I could retrieve my vehicle. The restaurant was equally disappointing. The food quality was poor and far below what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The condition of the room was unacceptable. Housekeeping standards were extremely poor, and the room felt worn, neglected, and frankly more like a dump than a premium hotel accommodation. The most frustrating experience occurred on my second day. Before leaving, I called guest services and specifically requested that housekeeping clean my room. I also stopped by the front desk on my way out and personally reminded the receptionist. After returning from a long day, I was shocked to find that my room had not been serviced at all. I then had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finally cleaned the room. To make matters worse, I requested that hotel management and the General Manager contact me regarding these issues. I was told my concerns would be escalated. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, I assumed I would hear from someone shortly afterward. However, despite my request for a call or email as soon as possible, no one ever followed up. Poor service, poor housekeeping, poor food, and a complete lack of management accountability. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.” — PainDoctor, 1 star

What guests are saying about Omni Providence Hotel.
"I absolutely love this hotel. I'm not even sure where to start: It's in the center of downtown, walking distance to everything, a five minute walk (or less) from the train station. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are large, the gym (and I'm a regular gym goer, so this is important to me), is the best gym of any hotel I've ever stayed at. It's got a multitude of machines, not even just treadmills. The price is reasonable. The view I had the last time I stayed was amazing (see picture). They provided a free drink voucher (the last time I stayed, anyway), the water bottles are free (they're not in New York), and it's connected to the mall, so that I can fit in some shopping very conveniently when I stay here. I'm a big fan."

He makes sure guests are safe and taken care of. He personally made sure I got to where I needed to go safely and went above and beyond to ensure the best service. The front desk staff is amazing and I highly recommend staying at the Omni as they have a top notch crew, in a top notch location!"

View on Google"Booked a reservation for a non-refundable room months ago. It was our first time at an Omni. The two weeks leading up to our overnight, I started reading over a dozen recent reviews that were 1-3 stars ranging from quality of service issues to cleanliness which was my main concern. I called the hotel a few days before our stay and addressed the reviews which they were “shocked by and were working on immediately.” When we arrived our room was spotless. We were roomed on the 5th floor. We had robes and toiletries. Our entire night was quiet and service was exceptional at check-in and out. We parked in the conference center parking garage for $25 overnight instead of the $45 of valet at the Omni. The garage connects to the hotel and it a 2 min walk over a sky bridge. Great location to a mall, CVS, bars and nice restaurants. 8 min walk to the flea market on Sunday and downtown Providence and the wharf. We loved our stay! Highly recommend."
