“It was so amazing and the stuff was amazing and so nice I will be going there again and the rooms were so clean and beautiful I was completely satisfied” — Angell Y., 5 stars
“Sebastian, who greeted us at check-in was professional, courteous, and welcoming. So very nice and helpful.. Unfortunately, check in was the high point of our experience at the Hotel Providence. The room was adequate and clean, although there wasn’t any hand lotion in the dispenser, and we only received 2 bath towels. The hotel advertised a hot, deluxe continental breakfast. This breakfast consisted of nutrigrain cereal bars, some granola bars, Costco muffins, some cold cereal boxes, and coffee. There were tea bags but no hot water, and no one in a customer service position who cared enough to help find hot water. The public restroom was filthy, and trash was overflowing. Probably the part of the hotel experience that was most disturbing was the rudeness and general lack of professionalism displayed by the morning front desk representative.” — Nancy, 1 star
“Interesting place. Great location in the old town (more to be said shortly). Its a 10 minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes to the mall and conference centre. I was in the Edith Wharton suite which was comfortable and relaxing. Help yourself buffet breakfast at the weekend, but then on Monday it switched to a disappointing set up in the lobby, coffee jugs, packed cereal, packed muffins. I mean it worked, but it wasn’t what I expected. Loads of USB ports thank god. Bit of a moan about the gym. Come on folks, get the machine fixed. It definitely has character. There is some kind of homeless day care centre across the road, so the locals can be a bit off putting, but I never felt threatened. Providence is really civilised, its a great place, and the Hotel enhanced the stay…its not formulaic and sterile like the chains. I got a good nights sleep. Hot water, it was comfortable. Would go back.” — GeeCee68, 4 stars

"After booking a room at another hotel and hearing that my reservation has been canceled without notice they had sent me here and the service was great! Big thank you to Jordan for going above and beyond in answering my barrage of questions and making sure my stay was pleasant. Breakfast was great with a big selection to choose from. The homeless can throw the area off a bit but if you don’t bother them they won’t bother you. Other than that i would definitely visit again! thank you to all the staff at the hotel and Jordan for making sure my expectations were met."

View on Google"The hotel was great! I loved the snack table setup with cookies and cider — the cider was delicious. The room was a perfect size, and having a restaurant inside the hotel that offered a continental breakfast was a big bonus. The restaurant itself was really good as well. The hotel staff was wonderful. The front desk worker, Nelly, was exceptionally great — super friendly and attentive. She helped us with everything we needed and even took a group photo for us. My group loves pictures, and she kindly took over 30 photos without any hesitation. She was incredibly patient and supportive. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again!"

Employees are very helpful, Racquel was very polite, welcoming and gave great nearby restaurant recommendations. Rooms are very spacious and very decorated, would visit again!!"
