“I went on a “girls weekend” with 7 other women. I shared a room with 2 others. The beds were listed as queens but they were full (room 256). That being said, the beds were super comfy. The carpets could be replaced in the hallways, and the stairs were a tad dusty. We had breakfast included and it was a disaster the first morning. I had a spa appointment at 11 and ordered my breakfast before 10 am. I had to ask repeatedly when it might be ready. I kept getting “I’ll check”, but eventually had to leave for my appointment. My spa session (deep tissue massage) was fabulous! It was a little chaotic in the check in area and I had to find a staff member to help me. She was lovely and apologetic and said it was quite busy. After my treatment, a staff member came up and presented me with my breakfast that had been delayed. I thought that was terrific! We had cocktails in the bar area, which were wonderful! The grey goose dirty martini is to die for. The lobby is cosy and welcoming, and I was told by my mates that the pool and sauna were lovely. We had dinner at the restaurant that Saturday evening, and I loved my meal. I had the scallops and crab cake. I just want to end this by saying that none of the faults I thought this resort had were the fault of the staff. They were, bar none, AMAZING. They were all thoughtful, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The property is lovely, and it’s in a one of a kind location. I think that the management needs to reevaluate how many staff they may need, even during a shoulder season. They also need to gussy up the carpets, and such.” — Seaside29645161250, 3 stars

“My husband and I stayed at this resort for Valentines day 2026. We were traveling on a ski trip and decided to have a nice night at a resort. It was far from that. We got to the hotel, and it is a beautiful classic building with great views. Unfortunately, the maintenance on the building is in disrepair. The paint is peeling off the walls in the pool, the plaster is chipping off the pool lining, the hot tub is boarded up, and the floor in the sauna is not attached to the joists. My husband stepped into the sauna and the boards fell out from under his feet. We read in reviews that the food and beverage service is extremely slow. Which we figured okay, we will just get a drink at the bar and order room service and wait. We weren’t in a hurry so no big deal. We sat down in the bar area, and the tables have all the finish peeling off of them. We got our drinks in a timely manner and they were good. That is the only good thing I can say, the bartenders were working hard to make up for a poorly managed establishment. We called room service around 7pm to place our order, they informed us that they have nobody to make the food and the kitchen is closed. That is 3 hours before the advertised time. We then tried to order food from the bar, starting with some bread just so we could eat something. The appetizers, including a bread basket, took well over an hour to come out. Our entrees never came out. We waited two more hours, and then with enough questioning, we were given 3 microwaved kids hamburgers (?). I went to the front desk to find the manager, however nobody could locate him. They said they found his wife and they were trying to find him through his wife and that she was going to come talk to me. I told them that unless his wife is also a manager, she isn’t relevant to this complaint. They finally tracked down the manager, he came out and said that his entire team walked out and he could not find any of them. He also had no idea that the kitchen was not taking orders. The manager walked me over to the restaurant with the promise of refunds, and we were met by 3-4 other families in the same situation. They also had been waiting hours in the restaurant with no food and drink. It was then determined that we would all have to order McDonalds in order to have at least something to eat. The manager promised me a refund for all food and drink and printed the receipts. Fast forward to today, all the charges have hit our card, nothing is refunded. I have been trying to get ahold of the resort, leaving multiple messages and even having the front desk try and transfer me to management, but there is no response. Nobody ever answers. Please do not stay here. We have stayed all over the country skiing, this is an expensive hotel room, and it is by far the worst experience we have ever had. It is an embarrassment that they call themselves a “resort” with motel level service.” — Kelly V., 1 star

“Run down hotel- pool is dirty and coming apart at the seams literally It was once a beautiful hotel - now not so much! Dingy lobby and dates worn carpets rude employees !!! We were shocked !
