“Beautiful location and a nice place to be. Friendly staff that goes the extra mile to make your stay wonderful. Unfortunetly we left before breakfast each morning and the restaurant was closed the 2 nights we stayed. “Those who want to travel to the White Mountains - wonderful and wonderful during the Indian Summer in September - almost inevitably come across the Adair Country Inn. No wonder because the house is located on a beautiful elevated location overlooking the forests of White Mountain. The house looks well maintained, the rooms are cozy and traditional. It’s thought that John-Boy is sleeping in the next room. The reception was a bit frosty. We are waiting for check-in with another couple when the owner (we suspect) hands us the room keys a bit barren and kept short and forgoes another welcome. The bed has had its best times (sucked), but what is best: at night is 5 degrees below zero. The heat is off. It is heated only briefly towards evening, and vigorously. For the rest of the night, the heating stays off. You have to tuck in well and not go to the toilet at night, that you can endure the cold at night in this ice palace. Shortly before 8, the heating comes on again for a short time, so that you can venture out of bed and make yourself right in the still very clammy bathroom. Before the heating is turned off after breakfast. Incredible and unacceptable. So if you want to visit this establishment, you must do so in warmer times. By the way: breakfast is not to be missed: it is only from 8 to 9. The Service for breakfast is friendly and expeditious. The offer pleasing. There is no cappuccino. As pretty and welcoming as this house would actually be: a less resolute welcome, more host culture and a heated chamber would be the basic requirement!” — Samnina, 1 star
