About The Hotel
The Common Man Inn Plymouth earns a 4.5 Google rating from 1,131 reviewers and a 4.4 TripAdvisor rating from 444 guests, operating as a 4-star property on Main Street with nightly rates from $132 to $134. The inn features in-room jetted tubs, an on-site spa with fireplace lounge, Foster’s Bar for casual dining and drinks, complimentary breakfast, and event spaces that host weddings and celebrations with highly-praised catering. Cleanliness stands out at 4.6 out of 5, while room quality scores a strong 4.6, though bed comfort and room-to-room consistency draw mixed feedback.

This property suits couples seeking affordable romance with in-room soaking amenities and budget-conscious families who value complimentary breakfast and on-site dining. Be aware that soundproofing issues make event weekends challenging for light sleepers, and the spa’s pool and hot tub areas need modernization despite the attractive common spaces and fast service that guests consistently appreciate.
What Guests Are Saying
“Hosted a large birthday party for a relative in an event room. Reservation process, staff, ambiance, and quality was top notch. Wonderful service and everyone raved about how great the food was. Staying overnight at the hotel, I noticed how incredibly fast the service was. Many times, too fast as though they were trying to get as much done as possible at times passing by too quickly to seem to care. But overall, I realized I never had to wait for a server or checking in on our table during the event of Fosters bar afterward. So, super good quality and super fast service but watch out to the staff, stop a couple seconds to say hi or how are you doing would go a very long way.” — Kevin P, 2 months ago · 5/5
“The inn is a cute place. The amenities and inn itself were nice and the free breakfast was great. Depending on when you are there, rates get very high in the popular times, more so than we think it is worth. The beds could be more comfortable and the room was a bit musty. We had friends in a different room that was much nicer so it might be hit or miss. They host a lot of weddings and the rooms are not very sound proof if your neighbors are partying. Overall we had a nice weekend!” — Katie Steike, 3 months ago · 4/5

He drives an EV car and he ended up with 25% charge in the battery by the time he arrived at the competition. The remaining charge was not sufficient to drive back home. This place has an EV charging station that was occupied at the time. They allowed my son to park overnight and come back the next day and charge the car to drive back home. There was no reason for them to be generous and yet they helped my son. It speaks to the character of the wonderful staff and the owners. If they care for a random person who asked for help I assume they must deeply care about their customers too. Our family will always be greatful for the kindness shown and hope to one day repay it back by enjoying our stay here. Thanks again to the wonderful staff and ownership!!!"
