What Guests Are Saying

“We have always enjoyed dinner at the Wild Rose with the lovely setting and the marvelous food. This time I want to write about Emma who served as hostess, bartender and waitress. She did it all and with a smile. I simply do not know how she did it all and retained her composure through out the evening. It was a wonderful evening and she made it all possible. I just want to acknowledge her efforts for a job well done. Thank you Emma” — Deacon42, 5 stars

“We have stayed here over the past 12 years and we still enjoy the manor experience. We especially appreciate the addition of the Keurig in the lobby. We stay off season so our experience is of a low key unhurried experience. The menu has changed but still plenty of tasty selections. The signature dish the wild rose is different but I still enjoy it each stay. If you have room after dinner a yummy dessert is necessary.” — MarD, 4 stars

“The hotel smells like a fireplace. It tries to have an old vintage aristocrat charm, but it is not. They promote the historic legacy, and good reviews in the past, but look at current reviews from late 2025 to current. They offer a dinner and breakfast inclusion. The menus show the entrees to be $30-$50, but the food is not good at all. Salmon smelled really fishy. Roasted potatoes looked like they were cooked days in the past. Their signature dish was with overcooked seafood and a bath of butter. The only dinner guests were those staying at the hotel. I looked in at 8PM and the lights were off. On the positive side, Janet is kind and does her best. She was sweating because the AC in the dining area didn’t work. It was warm. Also, the local can of beer was good. If you have trouble with stairs, there is no elevators, and the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Conway might be a nice location, but I would look elsewhere if I came again.” — Mark D., 2 stars

"My wife and I returned for a longer stay this year, and for good reason. If you desire an elegant boutique hotel with the charm of a bed and breakfast, you'll want to highly consider The Stonehurst Manor. Our four-night August visit was delightful and served as an excellent base for enjoying the White Mountains. A standout feature is that breakfast and dinner (soup or salad & entree) are included. Both meals were thoughtfully prepared and tasted superb. The Library Lounge offers an intimate setting for your pre- and post-dinner beverages. In addition, sitting in the Adirondack Chairs and enjoying the beauty of the Presidential Range left us both speechless. Beyond that, the entire staff was truly outstanding; everyone made an extra effort to ensure guests were happy and enjoying their time. We eagerly anticipate our next visit! Thank you for a memorable stay and helping us celebrate 32 years of marriage!"

"We’ve driven past here 1000+ times and finally, for our 31 wedding anniversary, we made reservations. Let me start with the Manor itself. The views are stunning and the building itself is full of old world charm that will not disappoint. We didn’t stay at the inn but just came for dinner and it was spectacular. My wife had the seafood pasta dish named after the restaurant “The Wild Rose” and I had the 18 hour slow roasted prime rib. Both were amazing. Her scallops (that I had to give puppy eyes for her to share) were the most tender, fresh and absolutely delicious scallops I’ve ever had. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was but I recommend you go and try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed, trust me. We are already looking forward to another night at the manor."

"Our party of 10 stayed at the Inn this past weekend & had a wonderful time. In particular we wanted to shout out Timothy who was our server Friday & Saturday & was exceptional. He made our dining experience fabulous. We had a lot of laughs with him!"
