"Cute place... Felt like I stepped right back into the '60s traveling with my mom and dad. It must have been redone at some point and very well at that. Our bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, and breakfast was great...though very typical of "free breakfast," it was nicely presented. I'll bet it's pretty in the summertime, but we got a really sweet breakfast treat when we looked out the window... I think it snowed just for us! To sum it all up, it was clean, comfortable, nostalgic, and the price was great. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation."

"The check-in process was satisfactory. Upon entering the assigned room, a strong, persistent odor of Fabuloso was detected, which remained throughout the two-day stay. Despite attempts to ventilate the room, the issue persisted. The cleanliness of the room was also a concern, as evidenced by the accumulation of dirt on the floor and under the bathroom counter, as well as the presence of pet hair. Regarding the dining experience, the restaurant is closed on Mondays, and the breakfast service was suboptimal. Specifically, the eggs were undercooked very watery, the sausage was excessively salty, and the selection of creamers was limited no flavored varieties,with only green tea available no varieties. Furthermore, there was a lack of hot chocolate options for both children and adults who do not consume coffee. The butter was not readily available at the waffle station, and the whipped cream was not accessible, resulting in food cooling down before all items could be gathered. The remodeled rooms are spacious and well-appointed. However, the beds were uncomfortable, exhibiting lumps and depressions, which detracted from the overall experience, especially considering the extended travel period. The bartender on Sunday evening provided excellent service and was able to prepare a preferred beverage. Our room was on the end so only one side of us had other people in which had young children running and jumping around till later in the night. As seniors we go to bed earlier, which didn't happen for our two night stay, not until the kids were quiet. The grounds were very manicured fun games all around the grounds cornhole,shuffle board. The pool area was clean, unfortunately the sauna was out of order which was one reason I chose this hotel over others. Since we are hikers it is nice to sit in one after a long day. The hot tub was clean warm temperature just not big enough for how large the hotel is, some jets didn't work and was overtaken by children most the time. Overall we made the best of it, the location was perfect the flume was close by, as was the Basin. It's a beautiful area in which we enjoyed our hikes."

"Great pool and arcade. Corn hole outside and other lawn games. Pretty grounds and a deck along water behind the restaurant. Pretty babbling stream behind the rooms. Nice to have the sports bar and grill for live music food and drinks. The hotel needs to increase the floor cleaning. I regularly found long dark hairs on the floors in our rooms and in the pool and hot tub area. Ugh. Otherwise the entire place smelled and felt clean. Note: The towels for the pool and sauna are very thin, not soft, and small. They fit our toddler age 4, perfectly. If you are an adult and plan to sit in the sauna, and of course cover your naked body, then bring your own normal or large pool towel until they get normal/decent size pool towels for use by guests. The free breakfast has great hours and is typical good. Although they need to work on the layout. Things are out of order, from a guest user experience, and people are regularly bumping into each other. The hotel location was great! Close to shopping, skiing, restaurants, family entertainment, hiking, and the river walk! Tons to do in this area and I look forward to coming back to town and staying at this resort. The price is right!"
